True to the Bitter End

Couldn't the old crone slip soundlessly into the shadows. Nope. Just won't call it a day. Still out there pitching bullshat. Nancy Pelosi - two days after election, “I don’t think we were clear enough by saying fewer people came in under President Joe Biden than came under Donald Trump,” Pelosi’s line is as clear as mud. It’s a documented fact that at least four times as many migrants entered the United States under Biden than under Trump. Source: Washington Post

Speaking of old crones who should shrivel away, Whoopi Goldberg claimed on "The View" that a popular Staten Island bakery refused to serve her because of her political views. The bakery’s owner categorically denied the allegations.

During Wednesday’s episode of "The View," Goldberg and her co-hosts celebrated her 69th birthday with Charlotte Russe desserts, a nostalgic New York treat. Goldberg told the audience her birthday order had almost fallen through due to what she claimed was the bakery’s objection to her left-wing political stance.

WRONG!

The bakery's owner, Jill Holtermann, repudiated Goldberg’s version of events, explaining that the bakery’s issues were not politically motivated but stemmed from mechanical problems with their boilers, an ongoing challenge in their building, which was built in 1930. "I said to Whoopi, ‘I can’t do it right now'," Holtermann told the outlet. "We have so many things going on with my boiler." Holtermann later managed to make 50 treats, which were delivered early Wednesday morning for "The View's" taping. The Holtermann family bakery has been serving Staten Island customers for 145 years.

Say it three times. Fake new, fake news, fake news.

Here's Another Difference

Harris paid Oprah $1M. Al Sharpton $500K. Trump paid Danica Patrick - ZERO! ZILCH! NADA!

Danica Patrick did it for the love of her country. Patrick, a former Never Trumper, worked her tail off for Donald J. Trump for free. While insufferable Hollywood types like Beyonce and Oprah were paid upwards of $1 million to speak at her rallies, Trump paid Danica Patrick exactly zero dollars. She did it because she loved her country and she believed in what Trump was doing.

And guess what, Dems? Get your notebooks out and pencils ready, because that's lesson No. 1 from this ass-beating. Stop paying people to talk on your behalf. Either people love you enough and believe in you enough to do it for free, or they don't really like you at all. That's the difference between the Democrats and the Republicans right now. Right there.

Danica Patrick came aboard FOR FREE because she believed in him. Oprah Winfrey, who is worth billions of dollars, demanded a fat paycheck for her stupid cameo at a Kamala rally. While they had people twerking (not Oprah, thank God), we had people fighting for our country. That's another reason the Dems got obliterated at the polls last week.

Why I Picked The Tulsa King over The Terminator!!!

Sylvester Stallone calls President-elect Trump 'second George Washington' during AFPI Gala introduction. Stallone also likened Trump to his 'Rocky' character by saying he was 'going to go through a metamorphosis and will change lives'.

LA Times Owner Promises Makeover.

Dr. Soon Shiong, owner of the LA times and richest guy in LA, stated he is going to revamp the Times' Editorial Board to ensure all voices are heard. Now calm down. He's a South African, not a Commie. We'll see. But at least he and Besos (WAPO) are making the right sounds.

More Appointees and a Big Miss

Let's start with the Bad News. Matt Gaetz. In another one of those quizzical Donald Trump moves, it certainly does look like he blew it with Matt Gaetz. This guy not only has baggage. It's a trunkload and downright nasty. No way there weren't equally qualified, equally loyal candidates who didn't get caught chasing 17 year old girls. Damn. The more I think, however, about the Gaetz appointment the more I think this might be a red herring. If the Senate shoots Gaetz down, it could make the rest gimmees.

One good thing about Gaetz - his game plan. Term limits, Congressmen precluded from becoming lobbyists when they leave, no stock trading by insiders.

John Thune (Elected Senator Majority Leader) - (63). Career Pol from ND. Nothing much of note. Don't really see why he will be special. Replaces Schumer.

Tulsi Gabbard (Director of National Intelligence) - (43) Born in Samoa. Served in Iraq and Kuwait. In politics since 2002. Dem Rep to House from Hawaii. Left Dems in 2002. Joined Republicans in 2024. Other than being a good looking woman, I can see NO earthly reason why she qualifies for this job. Even beyond her credentials, a number of her positions were contra-Trump. Can only be a reward for jumping ship. Definitely must be better candidates here too. Another miss?

Mike Walz (National Security Adviser) - (50). Green Beret. Decorated combat veteran. Graduated VMI. US Congressman from FL. One of Congress' most hawkish voices regarding China. No problems here!

Bobby Kennedy Jr (Secretary of HHS). Boy this doesn't fit. Yes RFK Jr wants to blow up not only the Agency, especially the FDA, but the food and pharmaceutical industry behemoths as well. Isn't Trump supposed to be anti-regulations? Wasn't Bobby Pro Choice? Lots stuff gonna have to walked back to make this fly. Didn't work so well for Kamala.

Some good ones for sure but Gabbard, Kennedy & Gaetz are doozies.

No on Recess Appointments

Trump wants OK to ram through appointments during "recess" so as to bypass confirmations. Emphatically - NO! Not the intent of this provision. Will only spur more "destruction of democracy" accusations. Checks and balances are important. Remember - whatever workarounds we use the other guys will double down when they have the pen.

Not only is it dirty pool, it's somewhat incongruous. Can't do a recess unless majority vote approves. If (for example) four senators are gonna reject a nominee wouldn't those same four reject a recess that smells of chicanery?

It's Going to Take Discipline

It comes as no surprise that the libs learned nothing from last week's shellacking. They still think their best hope is to fill the airwaves with lies. It will take real discipline to avoid going crazy for the next four years.

Keep remembering...

Trump is planning to shake this country to its roots. He is going clean house in all the places where corruption and DEI have taken hold. He is going to purge the Justice Department and the Military. He is going to rip the guts out of government bureaucracy. He is going to hold the feet of our allies to the fire but also have their backs like Biden never did. He is going to make sure our enemies know there is a new sheriff in town. Let there be no doubt about it. If LSM or Leftie Politicians tell you differently, chuck it out and get the facts.

Peace Through Strength.

Trump has made it clear what his foreign policy strategy is. Peace through strength. Just like Reagan. He plans to approach to US involvement and aid with a 4 step process.

  1. Determine if We Should Really Care. Does the US really care what happens in Uzbekistan or Cambodia or Uganda. If not why help? America first.

  2. If we do have a stake, a reason to care, what is the ROI? How much will we have to invest and how much do we stand to benefit? Is it good business spending our time and treasure?

  3. If we decide the ROI makes sense, we play to win! All out. No shortcuts. If it means we have to take out terrorists abroad or bomb an enemy to win, we will do it.

  4. Tell the American people exactly what we plan to do, why we plan to do it and what victory looks like.

Pretty much common sense, no? Remember the Best War is a Short War.

I had No Idea the Military Was Such a Mess.

I was aware that we missed our recruitment minimums by a mile, that DEI was more important than merit and the SecDef went missing for a week and nobody missed him.

But it's worse. Way worse. Not only were we 41,000 short of our 2023 recruitment target, but the soldiers we do have can't meet physical fitness or competency standards. Under Biden, you can pass the Army physical fitness test with 10 pushups and two miles in 25 minutes. An average 65-year-old American can walk a mile in 12 minutes. When confronted with this, the Secretary of the Army said that any stricter passing standards are at war with underrepresented groups. So they're being given passes. Remember the way you skate underperformers through is ALWAYS to lower the standards. Women do excel at certain jobs (Pilot, for one), but instead they are being given assignments at which their performance is dangerously inferior like infantry or artillery. No matter - gotta fill those quotas.

We were a joke in Afghanistan. In the Red Sea. And even here, where we let a Chinese spy balloon fly over our heads without knowledge or action FOR A WEEK (Jan 28-Feb 4).

One problem is DEI. Another is budget. We are on target to spend only 2% of GDP on the Military. Not since Calvin Coolidge has funding of our military been this low. You remember what followed Silent Cal. The Depression and WW II. The most important branch, the Navy, is starved. According to Mike Gallagher former Chairman of the House Committee on Countering China, our entire power projection platform is aircraft carriers. Fifteen hypersonic missile could take out our 10 carriers in the first 20 minutes of a conflict. China is building a military specifically designed to defeat America. They already have their sights on cornering the chip market by invading Taiwan. Hell, we can't even drive our cars without the stuff China makes.

Then there's Generals and Admirals who these days think it's perfectly okay to opine on political matters. To back and oppose Presidential candidates. This was not always the case. The two most famous generals of the 20th century, George Marshall and Dwight Eisenhower, one never voted and Eisenhower voted for the first time when he ran for president. It's appalling to see general officers signing blatant political letters during a political campaign. Senior leaders like Mark Milley can bluster unabashedly about political matters in front of the United States Congress.

The current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs signed a leaked memo that says he only wants 43% white pilots in the services. This is downright vulgar, not to mention corrosive of military ethos.

One way to get the generals out of politics is to show them the door. We have more generals and admirals now, with about 2.1 million under arms, then we had in August of 1945 when there were 16 million Americans in uniform. Make no mistake. This transformation will be brutal. It will take stamina and intestinal fortitude of the nth degree. It cannot be done from the inside. It must done by someone with courage, confidence and no strings. No doubt, this is why Trump chose Pete Hegseth.

But it is vitally necessary.

For the past four years, we saw first hand how deterrence without fear works. People may not remember but...

There's a reason that Vladimir Putin didn't invade Ukraine under Trump. The one time his troops got too close to Americans in the Syrian Desert, 300 Russians disappeared in a big red mist. The same applies to the Iranians with the death of Soleimani and the fact that, when Trump left office, the Iranians had a mere $5 billion in reserves left in their national bank, so they weren't able to fund Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis. And the same applies for China and its open malevolence toward Taiwan. They were very cautious about engaging in naval exercises in the Straits off Taiwan.

How Low?

We are getting to the point where previously independent thinkers are bowing at Trump's feet. He can do no wrong. For example Ben Shapiro. Trump says "Bow." And Ben says, "How low?" Not good, not productive. Too much like the low information liberals.

Last Ditch Liberal Tripe (need better name)

(Thinking of a regular new section dedicated to pathetic maneuvers for the Left Wing.)

Schumer now pleads for bi-partisanship having promised to railroad Democrat agenda through.

Debt-ridden Harris campaign spent $2.6 million on private flights for staff in October: FEC documents. The Harris campaign spent more than $1 billion on the trail. The DNC gets to foot the bill. So much for patying your way to the Presidency.

Pennsylvania Democrats openly admit to counting illegal ballots in McCormick-Casey race. Ongoing disputes in the Senate race between declared winner Dave McCormick (R) and incumbent Sen. Bob Casey (D) concern whether disqualified ballots should be counted. Washington Post editorial board blasted Pennsylvania Democrats in scathing piece about recount efforts. The paper called Pennsylvania Democrats' actions 'corrosive to democracy'. Hey, that's Trump territory - destroying democracy.

The leading candidate for the most unlikeable Dem of them all, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., is facing backlash for claiming that Tulsi Gabbard is 'likely a Russian asset'. Here we go again with Russian hoax rubbish.

Pentagon fails 7th audit in a row, unable to fully account for $824B budget. Pentagon audits received disclaimer of opinion. But with the goal of achieving a clean audit by 2028, Michael McCord, Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) and Chief Financial Officer, said the agency "has turned a corner in its understanding of the depth and breadth of its challenges."  "Momentum is on our side, and throughout the Department there is strong commitment—and belief in our ability—to achieve an unmodified audit opinion," he said.

The objective of earning an unmodified audit opinion is mandated by the National Defense Authorization Act.

McCord told reporters at a briefing on Friday that he would not say that the agency "failed" as it had "about half clean opinions. "So if someone had a report card that is half good and half not good, I don’t know that you call the student or the report card a failure," he said. More Democrat Word Salad. I warned you the Military is a Mess.
