Hard to Tell

Seems little question that Epic Fury combined with Israel's intrepid will has brought Iran to its knees. At least in terms of leadership and military strength. Still it is difficult to know what is next or what the final outcome might be. Clearly the Administration is under great pressure to ensure a satisfactory outcome without a protracted conflict or large scale commitment of ground forces. Either action would likely hand the government over to leftwing Democrats.

Unfortunately, major stumbling blocks remain. Oil prices and their impact on economies worldwide is one. I think most leaders know this is temporary and things will be better on all fronts if regime change occurs and Iran's threat is eliminated. Still people and public opinion vote with their pocket books.

The real issue is what will happen after the US and Israel back away. Will the current regime reassemble and resume? Let's be clear. "Satisfactory" outcome means regime change. Translation? Wholesale transfer of power and weapons control away from a Mullah-led regime policed by the IRGC and Basij militia to a government committed to responsible global citizenship and, one day, democracy.

That said, weapons control, however diminished, remains in the current regime's control. And they don't show signs of capitulating, let alone surrendering. Even though Trump keeps saying a "deal" is possible. Usually when he postures like this more bombs are on the way.

One thing is for certain. No way in hell should we ever again give this current regime the benefit of doubt.

Remember When Dems Applauded Obama's Iran Deal

Told anyone who would listen that it was the only way to neutralize the world's "most dangerous" nation. So Obama shipped them pallets of cash with no verifiable controls so Iran would pinky swear not to nuke us in the future.

Saudis Weigh In

...even if we can't count on NATO allies to show some backbone. Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been pushing President Trump to continue the war against Iran, calling U.S.-Israeli military campaign a “historic opportunity” to remake the Middle East.  Mohammed has conveyed to Mr. Trump that he must press toward the destruction of Iran’s hardline government, emphasizing that Iran poses a long-term threat to the Gulf that can only be eliminated by getting rid of the government.

And Here's A Comforting Thought.

Despite Iran's denials, Trump was right. Iran just demonstrated their capability to launch ICBMs that can hit targets 2500 miles away. This capability puts European capitals squarely in range. Maybe now Euros wanna pitch in? Nah.

Three Million Who Teach Our Kids

...belong to the NEA. The National Education Association is the nation's largest teachers union. On February 23 they held an event  "Advocacy and Free Speech Rights (training) for K-12 Educators". It was replete with leftist causes and criticisms of the Trump administration

Such as...the Department of Education is "now actively committed to violating civil rights," and that educators need to protect "vulnerable students.", that "Democracy itself is at stake" due to an "unprecedented push to criminalize speech and political opposition."

The training emphasized the importance of gender pronouns and the specified gender identity of K-12 students, saying that educators "should address students in the way they identify themselves," regardless of whether one's "identity" differs from school records.

The training slammed Republican-led states, saying, "It’s not just the Trump Administration… it’s Red State governments as well" in a slide with headlines lamenting banning DEI in schools, Texas wanting to "punish" students who protest ICE, and a headline that said, "Charlie Kirk’s death prompts Iowa bill revoking teacher licenses for celebrating political violence." Oh - so that should be OK?

As reported this group, along with the American Federation of Teachers, has funneled $250 million plus to political candidates and causes since 2015. 98% to Democrats, always left wing.

No wonder our kids can't read, write or count.

New Leader of Democratic Party

TDS according to Senator John Fetterman

How is This Different?

Isn't defunding DHS/ICE the same as defunding the police?

Allowing Boys to Beat Up on Girls in Sports

...is ridiculous. But this is beyond belief.

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s judiciary on Thursday ignored a U.S. State Department warning along with pleas from elite Iranian-American wrestlers and executed 19-year-old champion wrestler Saleh Mohammadi for protesting against the Khamenei regime.

Mohammadi was hanged in public by the Iranian regime to snuff out the ongoing movement seeking to topple it.

And people like Joy Reid says we're the same.

Aren't Enough People Steering Clear Now?

Headline...Major city hikes hotel tax to nearly 20%. Chicago's City Council passed a tourism tax hike on large downtown hotels. The Council has agreed to raise its tourist tax in an effort to grow traveler marketing programs. They're gonna need 'em.

It just makes so much sense. Raise taxes on tourists to attract tourists. Proven formula. Oughta work like a charm. See Hochul story.

Stone Age Conditions

Nationwide blackouts left 10 million without power in Cuba. Disintegrating before our eyes.

How Biased is LSM

...when we have to rely on Aljazeera to get a fair and accurate assessment of how the war is proceeding?

A Trifecta of Hypocrisy

For you non horse racing fans, a trifecta is when you pick the first three finishers in a race in order. Not easy trust me.

Well, here's a trifecta of hypocrisy.

First, NY Gov Kathy Hochul.

In 2022 Hochul slammed the wealthy and the productive living in her state. She shouted..."if you're Trump, Zeldin, Molinaro just jump on a bus and go to Florida where you belong. Get out of town. You don't represent our values. You're not New Yorkers." Many of the wealthy listened. Only they used private jets.

In her speech last week, Hochul pleaded..."We need high net worth people to support our generous social programs. If you want to be helpful go down to Palm Beach and see who you can bring home."

Yeah, c'mon you rich guys. Move back to NY so Mayor Kathy can rob you and stay in office.

Next Joe Kent.

Kent was a B team player in the Trump Administration's DNI office. He loudly resigned last week because "in good science I cannot support the war in Iran...it is clear we started this war due to pressure from Israel". First of all what moron thinks Israel or anybody else can force Donald Trump into doing anything he doesn't think is best for America?

Kent, however, hasn't always felt this way. A short while ago, he went on record saying we should crush Iran. Trump has a plan. He has definitely earned the confidence of any clear eyed observer. He tweeted he "agreed with everything Trump was doing."

Immediately after hitting the door, he appears on Tucker Carlson, who is a turncoat if ever there was one. We have chronicled Tucker's penchant for giving voice to America's enemies then giving them a pass in interviews. Well, Joe Kent went on to spin his conspiracy theory that Israel has Trump in its claws and was responsible for the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the attempted one on Trump. Bizarro!

So what gives? Well turns out that Kent was under suspicion and investigation for leaking secret government information BEFORE he resigned. Leaking stuff to Candace Owens. Think maybe he's teeing up his defense?

And the third leg of the trifecta - Esteemed hero of the Left, Caesar Chavez.

Chavez was founder of the United Farm Workers, a union for migrant workers. He was revered for his efforts to win favorable conditions for UFW members. Bill Clinton awarded him the Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the country. Even has a statue in Texas and a street named after him in Austin.

Turns out he had another less publicized occupation. He was a serial rapist of young girls, which the NY Times finally got around to reporting last week. Yes, that NY Times. The UFW has announced it won't be celebrating Caesar Chavez Day this year. Do you honestly think the NYT would have published this if Chavez was still alive and a Democrat icon? Wonder if the Libs will tear his statue down. Yeah right.

Justice Involved Populations

Liberal Democrats (are there any other kind?) are known for their effete leaning toward intellectual elitism. Heard them likened to Ivy professors sitting around a faculty lounge.

Here's an example. Some have started to use the term "justice involved populations", which refers to what we used to call prisoners, criminals, convicts, crooks and felons.

Say Good Bye - Churchill, Shakespeare and the Union Jack

Maybe even the Monarchy. Overrun by immigrants, WOKE ideology and a heretical PM, the United Kingdom is in the throes of losing its identity and most of its freedoms.

Defenders of Democracy

That's what the Democrats pretend to be. Have you ever heard such rubbish? Let 12 million illegals in and then told us President Biden didn't have the authority to stop without legislation. Yet Trump stopped (down 99%) in weeks not even months.

Now blocking Voter ID, something 80% of ALL Americans support. Argument is that it handicaps underprivileged. The underprivileged don't seem to have trouble producing ID to fly or drive or buy a beer or sign up for food stamps. The law says you must be a US citizen to vote. What's wrong with having to prove it?

Of course, we all know why Dems oppose. Simple - it will significantly reduce illegal voting, a key to Democrat power.

Go Figure

Hakeem Jeffries, who suffers from TDS as bad as anybody and also happens to be the House Democratic leader, went on a tirade with his demands regarding ICE. One was no ICE at polling places. Huh?

Unless we are allowing Illegals to vote, which is against the law and could be prevented with Voter ID, why would we send ICE agents to polling places? Go figure.

For the Record

Just to clarify a key point on Immigration and Border Security.

Occasionally you will hear a leftwing pundit point out that Obama and even Clinton were aggressive on deportations. Some called Obama - the Deporter in Chief.

Well, here's a fact. They counted "turn-aways" at the border in their deportation statistics. Of which there were boatloads up and through Biden. Today we have so few turn-aways as not to count. Why? Because there's no point trying. Trump and Homan have the border locked down tight. A field mouse couldn't sneak across.

Fan of the Bachelorette?

I thought not. Well, it's been pulled. Apparently this season's star, Taylor Frankie Paul, has ole Walt Disney turning over in his grave. Ms. Paul was the central figure in a TikTok group called Mom Talk. She advocated soft swinging, which is, apparently, having sex with others outside your marriage or committed relationship. "Soft" means you only hook up if your partner is present.

Paul is divorced with two children. In 2023 she was arrested after a domestic dispute with her then boyfriend. But that didn't stop her. She landed a gig on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

Disney thought so much of Ms. Paul's resume she was given the role of Bachelorette. Looks like that is on hold because another domestic violence incident has occurred. This one involves a former boyfriend with whom she also has a son. Apparently she choked her beau with a necklace.

A few questions. Hasn't Ms. Paul heard of protection? Doesn't Disney vet? What kind of "bachelor" would sign up to get a crack at this fabulous creature?

Maybe this kind...

"The Bachelorette" alum James McCoy Taylor was arrested on Friday in connection with his 2024 assault case.

No wonder streaming is winning.

Medical Malpractice No Joke

According to Forbes magazine...

Negligence on the part of care providers is one of the deadliest risks in America, with only heart disease and cancer taking more lives. Researchers believe the way medical error deaths are reported causes these deaths to get less attention than chronic respiratory disease, for example, even though the latter accounts for over 100,000 fewer deaths annually.

  • Medical errors cause 251,000 fatalities annually.

  • Medical errors account for 9.5% of all deaths in the U.S. each year, making medical malpractice a leading cause of death.

  • Medical malpractice is the third most common cause of death in the United States.

Like we said - get a second opinion for that hang nail.

Wind Out of Sails

The Department of the Interior secured a landmark agreement with energy giant TotalEnergies to redirect nearly $1 billion away from "unreliable" and "ideological" wind farm projects approved under the Biden administration and instead invest in U.S. oil and natural gas as part of the "energy dominance agenda."

TotalEnergies is renouncing its U.S. offshore wind leases and instead investing a total of $928 million in oil, natural gas and liquefied natural gas production in the U.S., according to the department. Additionally, TotalEnergies has pledged not to develop any new offshore wind projects in the country.

TotalEnergies SE is a French multinational integrated energy and petroleum company founded in 1924 and is one of the seven supermajor oil companies.

Robot Beats Federer

Robots can now play tennis versus human competitors. No they can't really beat Roger Federer- yet, but they can sustain rallies and hit all shots. Chinese robots have run 22 mph. How soon before they're as fast as cars on the freeway?

A Question of Leadership

For years I have lamented, no - felt anger over Republicans' failure to show backbone as Democrats ran roughshod over them. And then, of course, you have spineless Joe Biden, who let Putin, Xi, the Mullahs, Maduro, etc. have their way.

Well, no more. You may not like his personality and his sniping probably has you cringing (it certainly does me), but this guy Trump is a L-E-A-D-E-R. How easy it would be to cave on ICE, Voter ID, Venezuela, even Iran just to neutralize the Liberals and avoid a catastrophe in the November midterms. But no, he remains steadfast, committed to his campaign promises, his MAGA pledge. Cojones is the right word I think.

Here's yet another example of leadership...

CNN correspondent Ryan Young said security wait times at Atlanta’s airport dropped from hours to minutes after President Trump deployed ICE agents to assist TSA workers. He reported that the added presence of immigration agents at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport helped speed up lines following weeks of delays during the shutdown. BTW - ICE agents are helping only with lines and crowds - not security checks.

(Ed note: TSA problem far from over in many places)

Do Democrats...

Want our military to succeed in Iran? Want America to succeed? Want our President to succeed? What if all three are the same?

Talk soon.
