Jolly Ole - NOT

A few editions ago we noted the takeover of Europe's major cities by immigrants. Here's an anecdotal update from Jolly Ole England, which is certainly no longer mirthful.

A columnist, who recently visited England to see the great historical sites, instead witnessed: a synagogue bombing in Manchester, British police shooting a Syrian ISIS member on the street in London, two innocent Jews killed while walking on the street, thousands of Pro-Palestinian protestors shutting down Trafalgar Square. Followed a few days later by hundreds of thousands of Pro-Palestinian mobs shutting down the entirety of London.

Canterbury Cathedral, one of the world's great religious sites, is so defaced by graffiti as to be unrecognizable. Citizens are afraid to wear British flags on their lapel because they will be arrested. A member of Parliament urged that all British flags be taken down from lampposts because, "they seem unwelcoming to immigrants." A local politician was investigated for saying she was, "born and bred here". A recent study from the University of Leicester's Centre for Hate Studies found that rural England is "overwhelmingly white and in need of inclusion".

12,000 are arrested every year for what they say online.

All I can say is, if you have to change planes in London, don't leave Heathrow.

Make no mistake - this is where America was headed 13 short months ago.

No Kings Rallies

What happened? What to believe?

Dems say that the alleged 7 million who dressed up like unicorns and other inflated animals to protest, of course, Donald Trump was the greatest demonstration of civil unrest in American history. See? It's not only DJT who's given to hyperbole.

From the conservative lens, the crowds comprised mostly white seniors with few minorities or working class Americans participating. There was a similar set of rallies in June though fewer in number. In days to come the "financing" will be illuminated. Soros and the lot. Hey, if money's tight, why not dress up like Dumbo and carry a banner on a Saturday afternoon?

Trump's poll numbers actually crept up one point. Or was that the shutdown?

Not at all sure this event signals a growing disenchantment with the Administration's effort to make America better, which, for the most part, seem to be common sense and what the voters willed.

Schumer's been in Congress 44 years. Teddy - 46 years. Durbin - 42 years. Methusaleh Pelosi - 38. Now that's a monarchy. What about Biden edicts on mandatory vaccines, student loan forgiveness?

Aside: Speaking of financing Anti-American protests that more often than not lead to violence and massive property destruction...I read where George Soros has given $32 billion (with a B) to his Open Society Foundation, which in turn funds outfits like Indivisible, which funded No Kings rallies to the tune of almost $8 million. Like I said not a bad gig.

Despite what Bobby DeNiro, who hasn't had a film over 40% on Rotten Tomatoes in years, says, Trump is no king and certainly no fascist. Here's what the President said...."I'm certainly no King. That's for sure. I'm just a guy who's working his ass off every day to make life for the people in this country better."

Leadership? Now that's what I'm talkin' about.

Brandon Johnson, the clown mayor of Chicago whose performance makes Beetlejuice (Remember Lori Lightfoot the incumbent couldn't win her own primary) look like Abraham Lincoln, has just come up with a stroke of genius to resolve the Windy City's problems. Which include a steady stream of weekend murders, violence and a $1 billion deficit. He's talking about levying a tax of $21 per employee on companies who reside in Chicago.

Brilliant! No doubt that's addressing the root cause.

Seriously - This is a Realistic Probability

Left-leaning rhetoric is becoming more hateful and violence-provocative by the day. Now it's downright dangerous. Like in - I'll not only hurt you, I'll kill you.

To wit:

A far-left Howard University professor called for White allies of the leftist political cause to mirror a pre-Civil War vigilante mass murderer, who was eventually hanged for his crimes. Stacey Patton is a professor of journalism at the Washington, D.C., private school. In a recent blog post titled "John Brown Didn’t Ask Enslaved People How to Be A Good White Ally," she told White liberals who asked how to be a better "ally" to minorities to stop and instead to emulate Brown.

Brown was a militant slave abolitionist during the pre-Civil War "Bleeding Kansas" period. In 1856, he orchestrated the Pottawatomie massacre. He and fellow abolitionists dragged five Kansas settlers, at least three of whom were pro-slavery sympathizers, out of their homes and executed them. 

A Rutgers survey showed:

• 50% of self-identified progressives said killing Elon Musk was "somewhat justified". 14% said "totally justified".

• 56% said "somewhat justified" for President Trump.

• 21% of liberals said violence is justified vs.4% among conservatives.

  
  

Think about it. As we speak, the assassins of Charlie Kirk, the United Healthcare CEO in NYC and the attempted assassin of President Trump are all in jail at this time awaiting trial.

We are long past the stage when constructive discourse is possible between parties with different political views. Politeness and respect are a joke. Violence is all that's left and our schools are encouraging it. I fear we are rapidly approaching an "assassination culture". More is coming.

On a Far Less Significant Matter...

The left's hair is again on fire because Trump convinced a bunch of wealthy patriots to kick in $200 million to build a ballroom at the White House. Decided it wasn't cool to invite dignitaries to a major event at the world's most famous government venue then feed them in a tent. No taxpayer money to be used.

It's not like Presidents since time immemorial haven't made modifications and additions. Remember the putting green and bowling alley? But we had to foot the bill for those.

At least he's hasn't stolen the silverware like Bill & Hill.

Another "patriotic" Trump ally donated 130 million to fund military during the shutdown.

The only contributions lefties make is to burn, burn, baby burn.

Tone Deaf

58 Democrats voted no and 22 voted not present on a House bill honoring the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk. The measure passed 310-58.

No Jews- No News

A vulgar but oft used slogan in journalistic circles. Ever notice - no one is talking about the 50,000 Christians killed in Nigeria by Boko Haram and other Islamist militarists - with undeniable governmental complicity since 2009. Some reports say the number is closer to 100,000. 2000 Christian churches and schools burned. Don't see any protests on Harvard Square about them.

Promises Kept

New stats on efforts to remove illegals. 480,000 deported so far. A drop in the bucket but still. 70% are convicted of crimes or have charges pending in the US. Trump promised to focus on the most heinous offenders. Promise made, promise kept.

Despite a 1000% increase in attacks on ICE and other law enforcement officers.

Made in China

Remember Tom Cotton's Book (Seven Things You Can Say about China)?

We discussed the Chinese habit of embedding backdoor devices that give Beijing access to and control over devices and equipment they sell us. Without us knowing. Like the fact many of the generators essential to providing power to our nation were made in China or by China. What happens if they decide to shut them off?

The same risk apples to medical devices. Like in "life support". Used to treat patients, monitor patient health and inform medical decisions made by healthcare professionals, medical devices are critical tools used in the everyday care of our most vulnerable members of society. 

Medical devices made by Chinese companies not only have the potential to take advantage of that intimate access, but have already been shown to exploit those vulnerabilities to gain access to the personal, private data of American patients.

Just this month, it was reported that medical hardware from Shanghai-based United Imaging has been installed in some of the country’s top research labs. In some instances, these labs were even funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Not only has United Imaging worked alongside the Chinese military and the state-run Chinese Academy of Sciences, according to the FBI, the company has also bribed employees working at an NIH-funded lab to back channel non-public information about their research to United Imaging and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. 

Earlier this year, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a warning about a patient monitor made by Chinese-based company Contec, specifically calling attention to a software backdoor on the device connected to the internet that is "gathering patient data, including personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI), and exfiltrating (withdrawing) the data outside of the health care delivery environment." 

Best to look for "Made in China" before they hook you up.

Semi Kills 3 in SoCal - Driven by Illegal

Another story that just keeps on giving. Jashenpreet Singh is in custody and charged with manslaughter after the semi he was driving jack-knifed and killed three in Southern California. Singh was intoxicated at the time. He entered illegally but was set free under Biden's "alternatives to detention " policy, whatever the hell that is. Obviously he did not have the license required to operate the vehicle.

The crash comes as the Trump administration announced last week that it would be withholding more than $40 million in federal highway safety funding from California for failing to comply with federal English language proficiency standards for truck drivers.

Gradually but Inexorably

The Trump Administration is grinding away at exposing and punishing the myriad of fraudulent initiatives perpetrated by the Left against the American people and himself. The latest involves his lawsuit against J Ann Selzer and the Des Moines Register. Five days before the election they published a poll showing Harris ahead of Trump 47%-44%. This triggered euphoria among flag carrying Liberals. The View went orgasmic touting Selzer and the DMR as the "gold standard" among pollsters.

Initially an Obama-appointed Judge tossed out Trump's lawsuit. Yesterday that was overturned enabling the suit to proceed.

This is only one of dozens upon dozens of nefarious acts and actors, which the Administration is slowly but inexorably trying to expose and bring justice.

Trump won Iowa in 2024 by 56% to 43%. A perfect example of why the intentional leftwing bias of pollsters has been excoriated in the past herein. Margin of error my tuchus.
