Dozens of Mexico’s most dangerous prisoners, cuffed hand and foot, boarded army jets under heavy guard this year. This rogues’ gallery of cartel leaders was responsible for smuggling tons of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine to insatiable U.S. buyers.

The men were rousted from prisons, where money and corruption provided them with weapons, cocaine, booze, women and phones to run their lucrative underworld empires from behind bars, coordinating drug shipments as well as ordering killings and kidnappings.

The prisoners had no idea of their destination.

“Welcome to America!” said Derek Maltz, interim head of the Drug Enforcement Administration when he greeted the first batch of prisoners as they disembarked nine months ago. A second group arrived in August, a total of 55 men who face charges that could keep them locked in maximum-security prisons for the rest of their lives.

The prisoners represent the top echelons of Mexico’s biggest criminal organizations—the Sinaloa, Jalisco New Generation and Zetas cartels. They include Rafael Caro Quintero, who is charged with killing DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena in 1985 and has dodged extradition to the U.S. for decades. All are in custody without bail.

U.S. officials expect many of the prisoners will share firsthand knowledge about the operations of Mexico’s underworld—from smuggling secrets and money-laundering operations to the names of officials in government, the military, law-enforcement and finance who are paid to serve the drug-trafficking industry.  

Promise made - promise kept. At least partially. Pablo, by the way, refers to Pablo Escobar, the kingpin of all Cartel bosses. Estimated wealth upon his untimely demise - $30 billion (with a B).

Drug Traffickers Trump US Citizens

At least that's the way Democrats see it.

More concerned about the Geneva Convention than shutting down the inflow of deadly drugs. Libs worry that, during recent efforts to blow traffickers from Venezuela out of the water on their way to America to deliver a boatload of deadly drugs, we might have eliminated some floating in the water after their boat was incinerated.

As in Double Standards? Biden's DOJ indicted long-standing Texas Democrat Henry Cuellar and his wife Imelda. Charge? Accusation - Taking brides from an Azerbaijan energy company.

Real crime - Cuellar called out Biden for not dealing with the border crisis and warning it would be an election issue.

Trump just pardoned the former Congressman and his wife. Now I ain't saying the good Congressman didn't have his fingers in the cookie jar. But, c'mon a politician has to eat too.

Trouble in Paradise

PA Governor Josh Shapiro who lost out to Timmy as Kamala's VP choice - allegedly because he was Jewish and all the Wokies were piling on the Jews - had a few choice remarks about Kamala's book. "Utter Bullsh_t" is what he called it.

The "Center" was supposed to open in 2021. So, four years late. The Center was supposed to cost $300 million. Actual cost - $850 million. So almost 3X the budget. He shoulda hired Trump to oversee construction, instead of relying on DEI.

Hope those waiting in line have "vests".

One more point and it's a beaut. Part of the cost overrun was a $40 million lawsuit filed by a black contractor in which racial discrimination is claimed. Racial discrimination against whom? Competent people. Honestly, you can't make this stuff up.

On a Funner Note

How important is a top notch Coach backed by a decent GM and an owner who sits back and writes checks? Think Bears. Think Patriots, Think Denver. Think Colts even Jaguars. Then think "your" Miami Dolphins, NY Giants and NY Jets. It doesn't take ten years to turn a franchise around. It ain't luck or even a franchise QB, although they help. Just a few smart guys at the helm and some risk taking.

Long past the time when the Steelers needed to broom Tomlin. Who else but the Rooneys stays 10 years with a Coach who hasn't had a sniff of Super Bowl contention?

Asylum - Illegals Biggest Ruse

70% of all asylum petitions are fraudulent a DHS study shows. In NY alone there are 1 million asylum petitions. 700,000 are bogus. Easy to see why immigration courts are backed up and it lakes years for legit immigrants to get processed. Whole thing is badly broken, which is why Trump needs to make one big bold move to fix it all. Not only is this vitally needed, but it will deflect some scrutiny from deportations and make Trump a good guy in sane people's eyes.

DEI DIE

AT&T announced it is abandoning its DEI programs and dismantling its systems. Thus joining Amazon, Meta, Lowe's and McDonald's in pulling back on DEI initiatives.

Doesn't it make you wonder? Couldn't these mega corporations supposedly run by really smart CEOs and Boards full of luminaries have figured out this stuff won't work before now? That hiring unqualified bumpkins instead of based on merit is common sense?

Of course they could but they didn't want to suffer the slings and arrows of lamestream media and the weaponization from the Biden DOJ, EPA, HHS etc.

Think UK isn't Messed Up?

A British citizen was arrested in West Yorkshire for posting a picture of himself holding a firearm in Florida during a July 4th visit. Charge? Public Order Offense. Later dropped.

And its not just UK, it's most of the damn EU.

They just fined Musk $140 million for alleged transgressions on X against their Digital Services Act. Right before the 2024 election EU regulators wrote Musk a threatening letter (very detailed) that unless he wanted big problems in the EU for X he better not air his upcoming interview with soon-to-be President Donald Trump.

One thing for sure, Free Speech ain't alive in Britain or EU, now that cities are overrun by immigrants most of whom hate the US.

Bill signed. Starting July 4, 2026, all kids born legally in the US between 1/1/25 and 12/31/28 will receive a $1000 stipend to be invested in the S&P 500. Family and employers may add up to $5000 annually total to the same account tax free, although using this option may be not be the most efficient way to build wealth. Still free money is free money (Hah - free). If the jump start gets kids to learn the value of compounding and starting early that's a very good thing.

Current CAFE Standards Jack Up Price - Kill Choice

Corporate Average Fuel Economy standards were established in 1975. These mandates, another fine example of government free market intrusion, were jacked up under Biden to promote EV sales and force Americans off combustion engines. Never mind the alternatives cost boatloads more and were impractical.

The increase in CAFE standards ended up increasing car prices as manufacturers passed on the cost of compliance. They also accelerated substitution of plastic for steel, which doesn't hold up quite the same when you hit at wall at 65 mph.

Last week Trump signed off on resetting CAFE to pre-Biden levels.

The Department of Education has thwarted more than $1 billion in student aid fraud so far in President Trump's first year in office, including stopping bots and "ghost students" from obtaining taxpayer-funded loans. 

College officials and cybersecurity experts in recent years have pointed to a new scam trend of "ghost students," which are fabricated or stolen identities created solely to enroll, trigger financial aid disbursements and then disappear.

Thinking - Tell Me Something New?

I know, I know. Been beating the China horse to death. Still I don't think it can be overstated. While I applaud Trump's proclivity for making deals, I think his "practical" approach toward China is a big mistake.

Giving China access to Nvidia's chips, even it's second tier ones, is just not smart. I know we need their rare earth minerals, but asking the fox to watch the henhouse, c'mon man. Not only the Chicoms be aided in their march to AI supremacy, they will use them to design their own state of the art chips. China has lots of smart people. Plus unlimited Party $$$ and no rules. Bet the Bills won't be giving the Pats their game plans this weekend.

We need to focus on boxing China in. Denying them access to technologies. Befriending their neighbors (not punching them in the face with onerous tariffs, especially India and Japan). Making sure we control all the supply chains we need.

China has lots of problems. Lots of debt and an aging population thanks to one child. AI/robotics can mitigate this significantly.

Xi will never be our good buddy or a one who plays by the rules of world order. His very existence depends on destroying or, at the very least, dominating western civilization. Not a good guy. Not a good government. But...a big benefit of a dictatorship is you can stick to a strategy and not worry about elections.

Governor Pritzker, who now cares deeply about immigrants and the downtrodden inasmuch as he was handed a billion dollar family fortune, is releasing 1800 criminals from Illinois jails who have ICE detainers, What is an ICE detainer? Means the individual is here illegally and should be turned over to ICE for deportation upon release from prison.

Ole Governor Jay is giving DHS, President Trump and his own citizens a giant middle finger by releasing these individuals out onto Chicago's streets. As if Chicago doesn't have enough crime to deal with. Among this band of lawbreakers are murderers, a bunch of rapists, lots and lots convicted of sex crimes, including against children and so on. A stellar assemblage of Guatemala's, El Salvador's, Venezuela's, Syria's, Somalia's (I could go on) finest.

Just a little late. NYT finally got around this month, December 2025, to report that Biden aides warned Sleepy in early 2021 that illegal immigration was out of control and might sink his reelection hopes. Oops.

We have talked before about Tucker Carlson's MO for conducting bogus interviews with foreign leaders whose regimes hate America. He abstemiously avoids any (as in not even one) tough questions. Well, he's done it again. This time with the Prime Minister of Qatar. Forgot to ask him why...women are treated as inferior human beings, they give millions to anti Israel protests in America, they let Hamas terrorist leaders live lives as billionaires in their country.

Tucker did confess he's bought a second home in Qatar. No - for real. Bet he got a good deal on that one. Guess Tucker likes the slave to citizen ratio of 10 to 1. No wonder Tuckers gets all these juicy interviews. No hostile questions if you hate America and want to murder us.

Get Ready for Another Shutdown

These clowns in Congress are hurling insults and doing nothing again on healthcare. My ATF applies - FECKLESS. Obamacare belongs on the trash heap of history but Dems won't budge. They can't admit their fearless leader gave them a plan that has made Insurers rich while driving premiums to the moon. Won't admit that Nuns don't need maternity coverage. Nor teetotalers coverage for alcoholism. Almost 7 million on Obamacare don't use it at all.

Unemployment for Prisoners

The Somali fraud reminded me of back in 2020 when it was uncovered that prisoners, including some on death row, in the Wildfire State were receiving unemployment benefits. Guess there were no openings in the license plate manufacturing. All on Gavin's watch.

The amount of fraud in governments handouts, most of which will never come to light, has got to be staggering. Like Timmy said...Minnesota has lots of benefits so criminals will come.

I read there's a big Somali enclave in Maine. I know where I'd be looking next. This is where Pathway Immigration to often leads. Immigrants from tribal cultures come to the land of milk and handouts then band together to bilk the system. A classic case of immigrants from corrupt 3rd world countries teaming up with corrupt Democratic politicians. Match made in heaven. Bye, bye Medicare dollars. Hello votes.

By the way. Remember Eric Holder? The one who resigned in disgrace as Obama's AG after being accused of multiple judicial malfeasances. Turns out he was the one who vetted Tim Walz as Kamala's VEEP. Talk about foxes and henhouses. Almost as bad appointing Beetlejuice (deposed Chicago mayor, Lori Lightfoot) to investigate corrupt Dolton, IL mayor, Tiffany Henyard.

Interesting Idea

We should buy Ukraine. Or absorb it in some way. 51st state or at least a territory. Russia would stand down if we owned. Ukrainians have a lot to offer if the corruption gets rooted out. Hell, they beat back the Russkies.

Off to the Big Apple Next Week

Long time tradition at Christmas. I was thrilled to find that Mayor-elect is already working hard to make NYC life as dangerous as possible. He recently appointed Mysonne (How about Billy or Joey or Stevie?) Linen to serve on his transition team for public safety and criminal justice. Mr. Linen, of course, has a totally relevant track record. Served two sentences for felony robberies. In one, he beat a cabbie over the head with a bottle.

Wonder if he collected unemployment while in the "joynt"?
