Illegals Matter in Lots of Ways

Really Important to Stop and Retract
I know to some extent this is preaching to Noah about the flood, but illegals affect American citizens in SOOO many ways.
Certainly criminals who enter are a big problem. These include convicted murderers, rapists, child traffickers, drug traffickers and terrorists. The recidivism rate is through the roof.
Illegals overload our capabilities without paying commensurate taxes. They use our hospitals, our schools, our law enforcement, our roads etc. All without paying a fair share.
They get counted in the census, which among other things determines Federal funding and representation in the House. This is why Dems cozy up to illegals. Not just because they hope they can vote as citizens one day.
The drugs they carry in are taking a deadly toll.
The Chinese and others are infiltrating our society with sleeper cells and nothing good will come of that. 911 deja vu.
Two State Solution
Forever liberals have talked, indeed preached, about the need for a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict forever. Like it's some kind of Holy Grail. They infect university students with the righteousness of this proposition. All the while implying Republicans are the obstacle. Here's an update.
(recent excerpt from Jerusalem Post)
The two-state solution, the gold standard of Western Middle East policy for decades, was predicated on two foundational pillars. One related to the “state,” and the other to the “solution.” Both pillars collapsed over the last year.
In most variations of the two-state solution, the Palestinian state is demilitarized, with various restrictions to accommodate Israel’s existential security needs, such as Israel retaining the airspace and keeping control of border crossings. This is called a State-minus arrangement.
October 7 ended the template, not due to Hamas atrocities, as much as due to the Western reaction to it. While the fact is Israel fully withdrew from Gaza back in 2005, over the last year, Western public opinion was shaped to believe that “October 7 did not happen in a vacuum,” to use UN Secretary-General António Guterres’s words. Leftists shouted on every campus that Gaza was under “occupation,” “blockade,” or “siege,” since Israel controlled what could go into the Strip. (In other words, Israel was really to blame.)
If Gaza was considered under occupation a day before October 7, certainly the state of Palestine would be considered under occupation on day one of any 2SS, regardless of how sane any restrictions were..
2025 Western public opinion can no longer tolerate a restrictive solution The Palestinian issue has shifted in recent years from being viewed in the context of problem-solving to that of “rights” and, since October 7, “inalienable rights.” Get it? Terrorists have the same rights as law-abiding citizens do. But, of course. They only rape and murder because they are victims.
The rights of Palestinian rights must include the right to their airspace, control of their borders, and building their own military – rights given to any other nation, Western logic goes. Indeed, the topic of Palestine is no longer about peace-making; it is about “justice.” (Not a subtle shift but one that precludes Two-state nonsense.)
Therefore, unlike two years ago, the Western mindset now, passionately and aggressively, rejects the only viable two-state solution: a secured Jewish state living next to a Palestinian state. Given that a full-fledged Palestinian state is out of the question as it is viewed as suicidal for Israel, the two-state solution template has become a self-contradictory farce. (After October 7th, who in their right mind would grant Hamas these "rights"?)
The second pillar was about the “solution” – a durable arrangement that will stand the test of time. Indeed, the two-state solution assumed a stable macro-environment – in Jordan, Syria, and, in particular, in the new state of Palestine.
If the Assad regime, in place for fifty years and supported by Iran and Russia, can topple in two days, the same can certainly happen to a nascent Palestinian state run by Terrorists in tunnels.
And still, the two-state solution, rejected by Israelis on the Left and Right, and by most Palestinians, as well as many experts such as Henry Kissinger, remains sacrosanct in many Western policy circles – in the State Department (pre-Trump), the EU, the UN, and various European-sponsored NGO. “In the two-state solution we trust.”
The Abraham Accords, just like the accords signed by King Faisal and Zionist leadership a century prior, are based on an organic principle: Arabs in the Middle East want to partner with the Jewish state and benefit from its tremendous advancements. Let us not have this outdated Western paradigm stand in the way of peace.
Biden and that nitwit Anthony Blinken can repeat it over and over. Two-state solution, two-state solution. Doesn't matter. Polls show Jews don't want it - especially after October 7. Neither do the Palestinians. Oh yeah, pretty much all Arab neighbors have no interest in making room for the Palestinians. They've burned too many bridges there too. Egypt said no thanks. As did Jordan and the Saudis. Maybe Trump should take them over and rebuild with control. Just kidding - we have enough to rebuild.
Bad Policies = Bad Person?
Softies would argue no. But I say - when bad policies are beyond the shadow of a doubt BAD POLICIES, when common sense is thrown out the window and no cogent argument can be made for supporting them, yet you still espouse...I say you are a Bad Person. You clearly have an ulterior motive, which is dishonest at best and probably downright evil.
We all know Joe Biden is a crook. I say he's a bad person too.
It's Official.

No Pulling Punches
So why did Big Tech get MAGA-tized? Why did they suddenly drink the Trump kool-aid?
Answer? Bi-partisan antitrust lawsuits that are in the works.
Today, Alphabet (Google and YouTube), Amazon, Meta (Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp), and Apple are facing major, bipartisan antitrust lawsuits from the Justice Department and FTC. Several of these cases began under the Trump 45 administration, including two cases against Google filed by the Justice Department. The Biden Justice Department won the first case, and the Trump Justice Department is poised to win the second case.
Google is banking on the T-47 Justice Department pulling its punches on both cases. They and the other Big Tech platforms desperately want a return to the Bush-Obama Uniparty antitrust "enforcement," and they are hoping they can fool the Trump 47 administration into going there.
On balance, President Trump is smart enough to know a bad deal when he sees one. Remember he literally wrote a book called "The Art of the Deal." He is also too smart to buy the argument that Big Tech monopolists must become even bigger and more dominant in order to compete with China. America will win the AI global race the American way, like it always has. You can bet there's trade coming.
Free markets exist only when antitrust laws are enforced with vigor. Free markets require functioning markets. And when the trillion-dollar Big Tech monopolists – Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Apple – crush competition, shutter small businesses, cancel those with whom they disagree, and carry China’s water, we no longer have functioning and free-markets. Big Tech’s gatekeeping power over information and commerce must end.
These Guys Must Be Good
Comatose signed with a major Hollywood agency after leaving office. Creative Artists Agency also represents Barack and Michelle Obama.
Talk about delusional. Talk about a tough sell.
"President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs," CAA co-chairman Richard Lovett said in a statement. "His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again." Not said...plus with all the kickbacks he can pay our outlandish fees.
Wonder where they'll find a casting where he doesn't have to talk or walk? Maybe fall down comic?
Why Give Any Foreign Government Our Tax Dollars?
What's the point? Unless they are strategically vital to our interests, have been a steadfast ally and are in a once off pickle. We have more than enough problems to solve here and not enough money. Israel yes. Ukraine - a bit more to get it over. Others - why? WIIFM
Some More Info on USAID
The now-archived website for the virtually shut down United States Agency for International Development (USAID) "had" a page devoted to pushing DEI, which a former employee whistleblower told Fox News Digital was part of a larger Biden administration effort.
"Each of us has a responsibility to address bigotry, gender discrimination, and structural racism and uphold individual dignity... This isn’t just one of our values; it’s our mission—one hand extended out to another to meet people where they are and treat others as equals," former USAID administrator Samantha Power, who previously served multiple roles in the Obama administration, is quoted as saying on the archived website's DEI page.
"Samantha Power's emphasis on DEI was part of a larger Biden administration effort to infuse DEI into every federal agency and we saw this with very negative effects all over the place. You have people taking time off from their jobs to attend these indoctrination sessions and clearly pushing the message that people are divided into oppressor groups and victim groups and that there's this white rage and white extremism running all over the place, which is basically not non existent," Mark Moyar, former USAID staffer, explained.
Of course, this crap was not limited to this multimillion dollar boondoggle (okay - some of the money served US interests), it was, as Moyar said, infused EVERYWHERE, including the Military. Hurry up, Pete.
A Perfect Example
Heard an anecdote (can't remember where) regarding the limitations of terminating a non-performer in a government, public service union. It took 8 years to terminate a person who admitted to embezzling funds from his agency. Eight years. Oh well, it's only taxpayer money.
I'm Telling You - Fetterman's the Man. Or Could Become.
PA Democratic Senator John Fetterman says Democratic Party brand is 'toxic' thanks to constant 'shaming and scolding'. The Pennsylvania Democratic senator admitted he can't see the party winning back young men.
Fetterman reiterated his belief that the party did it to itself by constantly attacking and demeaning their opponents.
"I think our primary currency was shaming and scolding and talking down to people and telling them ‘Hey, I know better than you, or you’re dopes, or you’re a bro, or you’re ignorant or, how can you be this dumb? I can’t imagine it. And then, by the way, they’re fascists. How can you vote for that?’" Fetterman said.
He continued, "And you know, when you’re in a state like Pennsylvania, I know and I love people that voted for Trump, and they’re not fascist. They don’t support insurrection and those things. And if you go to an extreme, and you become a boutique kind of proposition, then you’re going to lose the argument. And we have done that."
Fetterman described the 2024 election as a "gut-check kind of vote" where Americans largely focused on who was "going to protect or project [their] personal view of the American way of life," rather than any specific policy.
Keep watching. See if he votes like he talks. May yet come over to the right side.
By the way, it strikes me that my newfound respect for John Fetterman is a small (very) example of how conservatives differ from leftwing liberals. We are willing to consider the facts, changing positions and current behavior when forming our opinion. Liberals, on the other hand, are blind ideologues who wouldn't approve of Jesus Christ himself if he voted for Trump.
Here They Go Again.
Many have wondered if the LSM would stop spewing its biased, leftwing propaganda. I, for one, said -
not anytime soon.
Here's an example of what to expect...
Trump's first two weeks met with backlash across media, called 'most damaging' in history. 'The worst two weeks in American governance ever,' one Washington Post columnist said.
"No president in history has caused more damage to the nation more quickly. As we enter Week 3 of President Donald Trump’s second term, the chaos and disruption of his first look quaint by comparison. The country survived Trump 1.0. Now, it faces a real threat that the harm he inflicts during his second term will be irreparable," The Washington Post's Ruth Marcus wrote.
Every day the LSM sinks to new depths in poisonous rhetoric and just plain nonsense. Fetterman sees it...
And They're Worried What Tariffs Might Cost?
The opioid crisis under the Biden administration cost the U.S. $2.7 trillion in 2023 alone, a new study exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital shows.
The Council of Economic Advisers, an agency within the Biden/Harris executive office, on Friday released a study detailing that the opioid epidemic cost the U.S. $2.7 trillion in 2023 when considering costs related to loss of life, loss of quality of life, loss of labor force productivity, crime and costs to the healthcare system.
The opioid epidemic has raged for years, primarily inflamed by the use of fentanyl. This deadly synthetic opioid chiefly originates in China and comes to the U.S. over the Mexico border.
The loss of life in 2023, for example, cost the U.S. $1.11 trillion, with the study explaining that researchers multiplied the 74,702 opioid deaths that year "by value of statistical life in the United States, then adding productivity and healthcare costs, which arise due to opioid fatalities."
I know, I know. Figures don't lie, but liars figure. Still - consider this study was done on Biden's watch..
Hopefully the 10,000 troops Canada and Mexico are putting on the border will help. That and tossing the drug runners out. Next, Trump needs to lay the law down to Xi.
Amazingly, Biden never even lifted a finger. Too tired I guess. Or maybe he forgot.
Wildfire State Stays On Course
Newsom signed a $50M 'Trump-proofing' legislative package. Gov Gavin Newsom signed the multimillion-dollar 'Trump-proofing' package - after coming to Trump hat in hand to beg for federal disaster relief (mostly from taxpayers who don't live in CA).
Newsom said the bill will "bolster funding for legal services programs that are vital to safeguarding the civil rights of California's most vulnerable residents, including people with disabilities, youth who are homeless, victims of human trafficking and wage theft, people facing unlawful evictions, immigrants and more." I'm gonna be sick. Shoulda use that $50 mil to hire a few more firefighters.
But no...once again CA is doing everything in its power to thwart the will of the American people. Obviously, because they know better. Contrast this with Florida, where Governor DeSantis is deputizing the State Troopers to help round up and deport illegals. More than just a few thousand miles separates these two states, I'll tell ya.
Finally - a Dem Backs a Trump Idea
A Democrat senator has publicly backed Trump's 'common sense move' to fire the penny. 'I'm not afraid to embrace a good idea,' Sen Jacky Rosen (D-NV) says after Trump revealed his order for the treasury to stop producing new pennies.
A Democrat not named Fetterman, that is.
And it's not like it's a small issue either. Say it...No More Pennies, No More Pennies! I Hate Pennies! I Hate Pennies!
The Dems sure know when to stand up and be counted. Not for cutting billions in waste, but for banning the dreaded penny.
Don't Forget...This is Your Money!
EPA administrator Zeldin has demanded return of $20B in taxpayer money wasted by Biden administration. Zeldin said his team found $20 billion in taxpayer money parked at an outside financial institution.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) administrator Lee Zeldin said Wednesday that his team has located $20 billion in tax dollars that the Biden administration purposely wasted.
"An extremely disturbing video circulated two months ago, featuring a Biden EPA political appointee talking about how they were ‘tossing gold bars off the Titanic,’ rushing to get billions of your tax dollars out the door before Inauguration Day," Zeldin said in a video posted to X. "The ‘gold bars’ were tax dollars and ‘tossing them off the Titanic’ meant the Biden administration knew they were wasting it."
Zeldin said the EPA has plans to recover some of these "gold bars" that were found parked at an outside financial institution. "The days of irresponsibly shoveling boatloads of cash to far-left activist groups in the name of environmental justice and climate equity are over," Zeldin said. "The American public deserves a more transparent, accountable government than what transpired these past four years."
He also said that he would be referring this matter to the inspector general's office and that he would work with the Department of Justice to assist President Donald Trump in regaining control.
Starting to look like Biden might have done as much to screw Americans in the final 46 days as he did in the first 1,403.
Gutting Bureaucracy is not a Threat to Democracy
Forget what Maxine Watters chants and Chuck Schumer lectures. Cutting billions in make work jobs (aka Non-partisan Civil Service, Hah), grants for DEI in Serbia, millions to Hamas cement companies and Cronies under the banner of Green Energy - are not going to "destroy" US Democracy. What it will do is help a teeny weeny bit to slow the growth of our debt and interest payments, which now exceed our Military budget.
I'm tired of people using the bland, innocuous term...reducing waste. What's been happening with USAID and other boondoggle agencies under Biden/Harris is C-O-R-R-U-P-T-I-O-N...pure and simple. Waste is far too benign a label. Waste happens when resources are unknowingly squandered. What we have here is large scale, carefully planned, outright diversion of taxpayer money for personal gain. Followed by massive (foreign) borrowing when we don't have enough to fund our real needs.
And It Ain't Only The Dems
Mitch McConnell has been using his political influence for years to benefit his father-in-law's business. His wife is Elaine Chen and her father runs a shipping company in Red China for Red China.
Lindsey Graham's (R-SC) net worth was reported as $800K when he first entered politics in 1992. Today, his net worth is estimated to be around $46M. How does that happen on a Congressional salary? Lindsey Graham's salary was $150K a year when he first entered Congress in 2003, and today it's $174K a year. That's an average of $164K a year, which over his 22-year career as a US Senator (if he never paid taxes and never spent even one penny of his salary) amounts to a total of $3.6M before appreciation. So, how does one get from $800K to amassing $46M in wealth?
I know - belong to the Nancy Pelosi investment club (40%+ returns pa).
Remember When FEMA Went Broke
And a big reason was their funds were misappropriated for illegal migrants?
North Carolina sure does...
The Department of Homeland Security says it has taken back $59 million in FEMA funds earmarked for hotels housing migrants in New York City, a day after it fired those involved in making the payment.
"Secretary Noem has clawed back the full payment that FEMA deep state activists unilaterally gave to NYC migrant hotels," a DHS spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "There will not be a single penny spent that goes against the interest and safety of the American people."
Any Chance More Will Sign Up?
Sometimes, the progressive response to conservative victories reveals more than any political analysis ever could. Since Donald Trump’s return to the White House, we’ve witnessed protests, social media meltdowns, and increasingly bizarre proclamations from the left. "Next, Musk will steal your social security." Why? Does he need the $$$?
They seem to forget that they are “resisting” someone who won the popular vote, the man a majority of Americans want in the White House.
Some progressive leaders have taken their resistance to extraordinary – and irreversible – personal extremes. Their actions reveal a troubling disconnect between political reality and progressive paranoia.
In Michigan, one Democratic lawmaker has made headlines with perhaps the most drastic anti-Trump statement yet. This is a state, by the way, that explicitly protects abortion rights through all nine months of pregnancy,
State Rep. Laurie Pohutsky, 36, proudly announced to protesters that she underwent voluntary sterilization surgery specifically to avoid “pregnancy in Donald Trump’s America.” Speaking at a February 5 anti-Trump rally at the Michigan State Capitol, Pohutsky declared her permanent decision with an air of defiance that left even veteran political observers speechless.
I say, "More the Merrier.".

Woke Pope
I have been a practicing Catholic since preschool. I still go to Mass (almost) every Sunday.
I have long been uneasy about the current Pontiff, Francis. He's failed to address the breakthrough issues for Catholicism (contraception, Priests allowed to marry, Women as priests, divorce). Weekly, I lament the preponderance of lame homilies and uninspiring music. I know the mass isn't mainly to entertain, but I've always felt fannies in the seats was the name of the game. Hard for the Church to exert influence if the pews in the Church are empty.
Recently, he chose to opine on our immigration disaster.
Headline - Pope blasts Trump admin over mass deportation plan, directs ire at Vance's religious defense for policies
"What is built on the basis of force, and not on the truth about the equal dignity of every human being, begins badly and will end badly." said Pope Francis.
Couldn't disagree more. When people break the law, when felons and terrorists are allowed to run amok, when millions consume resources to which they are not entitled - THAT WILL END BADLY. Better go back and reread the Ten Commandments, Francis. Okay to love your neighbor as yourself as long as he stays on his side of the border.
As Expected...Hamas Caves
Hamas announced on Thursday it will free Israeli hostages as originally planned, according to The Associated Press.
The move comes days after President Donald Trump issued an ultimatum to the terrorist group, who threatened to end the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Trump said if they did not release the hostages by Saturday, he would "let hell break out." Boom - hostages freed.
Ex-Clinton Comptroller Fesses Up
Financial advisor Eugene Ludwig said voters were right and Democrats were wrong about the state of the economy leading up to the election in an article Tuesday.
"Before the presidential election, many Democrats were puzzled by the seeming disconnect between ‘economic reality’ as reflected in various government statistics and the public’s perceptions of the economy on the ground," Ludwig wrote in a piece titled, "Voters Were Right About the Economy. The Data Was Wrong."
"Biden Progressives in Washington bristled at the public’s failure to register how strong the economy really was. They charged that right-wing echo chambers were conning voters into believing entirely preposterous narratives about America’s decline," Ludwig said.
"What they rarely considered was whether something else might be responsible for the disconnect — whether, for instance, government statistics were fundamentally flawed."
Translation? They freaking LIED. Remember all those revised job statistics?
In one example, he said reports on unemployment often count people "unwillingly under-employed" as employed and disregard Americans "discouraged" enough to stop looking for a job.
"[T]he prevailing statistic does not account for the meagerness of an individual’s income," he added. "Thus you could be homeless on the streets, making an intermittent income and functionally incapable of keeping your family fed, and the government would still count you as ‘employed.'" (Or you could work for the government in your pajamas.)
Ludwig also took aim at the claims by Democrats that inflation had cooled from its record highs and that wages had risen at a faster rate.
He wrote how this was usually based on numbers from the Consumer Price Index (CPI), which tracks the prices of 80,000 goods and services across the economy. However, he warned that most modest-income Americans spend more on basic amenities like groceries and rent rather than the goods from the CPI, which paint a vastly different picture.
"If prices for eggs, insurance premiums and studio apartment leases rise at a faster clip than those of Louis Vuitton handbags and second homes, the CPI (vastly) underestimates the impact of inflation on the bulk of Americans. That, of course, is exactly what has happened," Ludwig said.
Translation? Forget the damn polls and self serving government statistics. Rely on what you see and feel.
Also remember this. It all has to BE FIXED and it ain't easy to turn this battleship around.
Biden/Harris left a bigger pile of excrement than LSM would have you believe...Mainstream media outlets defend former President Biden’s economy in the weeks and months leading up to the election. Politico correspondent, Victoria Guida wrote that "[former Vice President Kamala] Harris is riding a dream economy into the election. The positive economic picture is a remarkable victory for both Biden and [Federal Reserve Chair Jerome] Powell, even as consumers still feel squeezed by higher prices."
Rubbish.
Have a nice President's Weekend now that we finally have one.
