Another Gem from Harris/Biden

While nowhere near original thinking, Biden and Harris have been chirping since October 7th about the need for a Two State Solution to the Israeli-Palestinian problem. In addition to the fact that the two major Palestinian domiciles are not contiguous, there is the issue that few on either side want a 2SS. A recent Gallup Poll shows that only 24% of Palestinians are in favor, which is down from 59% 12 years ago. As far as the Israelis, they are not too keen either. Only 35% think it's viable, which is down from 50% 12 years ago.

But what the heck do they know? Kamala and Joe know best.

With An Ally like This How Can She Lose?

Kamala was beside herself with hilarious joy when former Republican, Liz Cheney, decided to voice her support in a recent campaign event in Detroit. Cheney's message? "When Kamala is done we can all live in city like Detroit".

Mark My Words

If Harris gets in, she is going after the Supreme Court.

We've already seen how Biden sicced the DOJ on Trump. Now the DOJ is at it again. Basically, Virginia was trying to clean up the election rolls. When you apply for a driver's license, you check a box, I'm a citizen, I'm not a citizen. So people who checked either I'm a non-citizen or didn't check a box, they were referred to the registrars in their own counties to make sure they're not registered. This has been going on since 2006. A statute signed into law by Tim Kaine when he was governor. Now he's Democratic senator. It's been used by governors of both parties for 18 years with no incident.

Now the Justice Department has intervened. They sued like three weeks before the election, and they argued that it violates the National Voter Registration Act that prohibits systemic programs from removing people. Now it's technical argument. Virginia's argument is that it's not systemic. This is based on people identifying themselves. And they also point out there's plenty of ways for someone wrongly dropped from the rolls who is a citizen or has become a citizen to restore it. Even up to election day, they can go in and cast a ballot. It was just outrageous. All Virginia is trying do is to keep non-citizens from voting and guarantee the election integrity.

Kamala Harris: There is no question that the American people increasingly are losing confidence in the Supreme Court and in large part because of the behavior of certain members of that court and because of certain rulings including the Dobbs decision and taking away a precedent that had been in place for 50 years protecting a woman's right to make decisions about her own body. I do believe that there should be some kind of reform of the court and we can study what that actually looks like.

Here It comes!

There are two Democratic bills in Congress that are worth talking about. The first one is from Oregon Senator Ron Wyden. It was introduced last month. It's called the Judicial Modernization and Transparency Act. And one thing that it would do is expand the Supreme Court to 15 justices over three presidential terms. So the next three presidents would get additional court picks until the total number of justices hit 15. Mind you we've had 9 Justices since 1869. That's like...155 years, so it's clearly time for a change now that the Conservative-leaning judges are a majority.

The Wyden bill would require the IRS to publish tax returns of the justices. It says that two-thirds of the justices would be required to declare an act of Congress unconstitutional. There's a similar provision saying that two-thirds of the justices could vote to kick one of their fellow justices off a case to enforce recusal.

A similar bill was authored by Sheldon Whitehouse, junior Senator from Little Rhody. This one, which passed the Senate Judiciary Committee, has a similar recusal provision, would invite complaints against the justices upon which a lower panel of lower court judges would then investigate with subpoena power and the ability to take testimony. Additionally, there have been a plethora of whisperings about ethics scandals. Yet, as usual, there has not been one shred of evidence.

Most every political historian, if not Woke-poisoned, agrees that one of the smartest things the founding fathers did was construct a three-part government to ensure inherent checks and balances. While this has, upon occasion and too often these days, resulted in hopeless logjams, it does prevent the sort of dictatorial sublimations that Socialist countries around the world suffer daily.

Make no mistake...Harris and her cronies, despite the fact that the majority of decisions from the current SCOTUS have been clearly bi-partisan and many unanimous, are bent on destroying the Court's foundation primarily because of its rulings on Abortion and those favoring Trump.

Self Serving Promo

I have thought about providing a service to the CME community by passing along items that might be of interest or use. The majority of subscribers at this point live in FL, so it will be slanted that way. If anyone has a restaurant, product, service or any other cool idea that others might derive joy or benefit, pass it along and I'll insert in an upcoming post.

In this regard, I want to tell you about a company with which I am associated. About six years ago, I bought a piece of Poly Lift USA. Polylift repairs concrete slabs that are cracking, sinking, creating trip hazards or unsightly looking pool decks, driveways, patios, sidewalks or foundation. Our Foamjection technology injects hot, liquid polyurethane foam through the damaged slab. The foam expands to compact the sinking soil underneath, stabilize the slab and, if desired, lift. Once the slab is repaired it can be painted or resurfaced to look like new. We've done over 9000 successful projects to date.

On average, Foamjections can repair a slab for 50-75% less than what is costs to demo and replace. For example, although our specialty is residential, we just lifted 60 slabs for a Pilot Truck Stop. These slabs were 12" thick and sunken 4". We leveled all 60 and saved Pilot almost $200,000.

If you have concrete on your property (pool deck, driveway, foundation) and it cracking and sinking, Foamjection may be able to save you a bunch of money before the damage requires replacement. If you are buying a property or getting ready to sell one, cracking pool decks, driveways and walls/ceilings are a danger sign of expensive repairs to come. Inspectors often ignore or tell you, "it's normal in Florida." It may be common but it's not normal.

Besos Take a Teeny Weeny Step

WAPO refuses to endorse a candidate. Because, says owner Jeff Besos, the country is disgusted with the Media and "we have to do a better job." Duh. Ya think? LA Times pulled same move. That's how bad Harris is. Even these two Liberal Swamps can't bear to back her publicly.

Thought it was funny (pathetic) that WAPO advised Kamala in a recent editorial to promise a giant celebration for the nation's 150th birthday in 2026 to promote patriotism and unity. Some strategy. wonder if she's going to invite the Deplorables and the Garbage.

Why You Should Vote for Kamala

  • Trump is a fascist.

  • He will destroy democracy by lowering inflation, securing the border, regaining energy independence, reducing regulations, protecting tax cuts already in place, standing by our allies and striking fear into our enemies.

  • Plus his supporters, once deplorables, have now sunk to the level of "garbage".

  • Kamala, on the other hand, will protect democracy by doing away with the filibuster, fracking and maybe private insurance. She will restructure the Supreme Court and add new states to ensure the Woke agenda becomes the law of the land - never hesitating to use the DOJ to keep those who resist in line. She will crack down on price-gouging food producers and landlords and get Israel in line; thus, ensuring life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness forever.

  • Oh yeah...she will bring us together.
