Subject: Homer Simpson, Cheaters, Inc. and Where have the Kochs gone?

Hello again Bill and Claude.

Greetings from the State that Got it Right and home of 47, I hope (before DeSantis dropped out)

Today, everybody’s talkin’ bout who’s runnin’.  Who’s runnin’?  Trump, DeSantis, Scott, Nikki and a couple of dudes I don’t know much about.  More to come - maybe Christie.  Maybe Pence.

My take is who cares? 

First point…If we restore the ballot box to a level playing field, Homer Simpson could beat Joe Biden.  If we let the Democrats eat our lunch with ballot stuffing and Lord knows what else, we lose even if Jesus himself ran.  To wit…2022 midterms.

Second point… As you, Bill, blurted out so aptly in your latest podcast with Messrs. Black and Hanson,  “They’re Cheaters!”  Since I awoke early Wednesday morning, November 5th 2020, I have believed the election was stolen.  No one can convince me that, on the heels of a robust economy, restored respect abroad, serious crackdowns on illegal immigration, energy self sufficiency, Covid on the run and all the rest, more people voted for Joe Biden than Donald Trump. 

Even more incredible - more voted for the King of the Cellar than the anointed ones, Barack Hussein Obama and Hilary Rodham Clinton.  Sorry, ain’t buyin’ it. 

I am nowhere smart enough to divine the myriad ways in which the Libs outsmarted us.  But I am certain that a bunch of their tactics were flat out cheating.  The Libs are Cheaters, Inc. and have no compunction about it.  True disciples of Niccolo M.

Which brings me to my last point…where have all the Kochs gone? (before they jumped on the Haley Bandwagon)

I am nearly finished reading Jane Meyer’s book, Dark Money, in which she filets the money machine behind the Republican party.  In your recent podcast, Mr. Hanson mentioned the deep pockets currently financing the lib’s chicanery.  Well, obviously, we once had deep pockets of our own and some pretty damn clever ones.  For decades before and especially in the post Citizens United era, we had quite a political machine for a while there.  We masterfully engineered the 2010 midterms to put the brakes on Obama’s delusional schemes.  He never truly recovered. 

Where are these supporters and their wizards now?  Where were they in 2020 and 24?  Have they flipped?  Or, are they such Never Trumpers those checkbooks will stay shut as long as he’s the standard-bearer?

I implore you to dedicate a podcast or three to analyzing what the Republicans can do specifically to prevent upcoming elections from being hijacked.  It seems Republican power players of the past no longer want to play.  So, what to do?  Surely there must be somebody on our side who has some ideas.  Clearly, McConnell and the other sad sacks livin’ high off the hog couldn’t care less.  Rove used to be in cahoots with those who attended the Koch Summits back in the day.  Where is he?  Wait, let me answer.  Livin’ high!  Makin sure his boat don’t rock.

How about a guest or two with some detailed strategies based on reality?  For sure, the Dems have plenty in store for us in 2024.  See the polls where Trump is up 30 points?  How much do you want to bet the Libs have those rigged, so he’s the nominee.  They would sure rather have Sleepy run against Trump than DeSantis.  That’s a given.  By continually attacking Trump, they cement his loyalists and make others feel sympathetic.  Don’t we have anybody out there with a plan to prevent another 2020/2024?

Lastly, you seemed to like Policy Trumps Personality slogan.  How about:

• Tough without Tantrums.

• Eight Years of Leadership of Which You Can Be Proud.

• Dignity not Drama

OK.  Not quite as pithy.  Work in progress.
