#5 - Infiltrated Our Government

...at pretty much all levels.

Starting with the US military. China is adept at seeking out the few bad apples and buying their help. For mere pittances. Veterans are hired to train Chinese pilots, service personnel and police forces. Disaffected tech workers are identified through LinkedIn. Down on their luck techies are only too happy to aid and abet.

More importantly, US Defense Contractors are prime targets. Only to happy to transfer technologies and secrets for access to the Commieland. Hughes Electronics transferred state of the art space technology. Northrup Grumman shared designs for the B-2 stealth bomber and stealth cruise missiles. Boeing handed over specs for F-22, F-35 and C-17 aircraft. China then used these templates to build its Xi-an Cargo ship and J-20 stealth fighter.

China also buys farmland and builds windmills - supposedly to assist with our zeal for green energy. In reality these super tall structures are ideal for surveillance. You may recall China even floated a 200 foot tall, 2000# spy balloon across the entire continental US - and Biden did nothing about it for days on end.

Then there is the Swamp. Talk about target rich. Don't even have to spy or hack. Just buy. Think of it as N-I-L for politicians. So bad the DNC had to return almost $3 million in contributions from Chinese spies. Double agent, Katrina Leung, received $1.7M from the FBI in return for which she slept with two agents and stole classified material from the US counterintelligence program. How does that work? Nice trade.

Diane Feinstein had a Chinese spy for her driver for 20 years during which time she was Chairperson of the Senate Intelligence Committee. House member, Eric Swalwell, another crooked Cali pol, was close friends with Christine Fang, a well known Commie spy.

Bankrolling political campaigns is a tried and true influence peddling scheme. In return for which political heavyweights like Harry Reid, Trent Lott, John Breaux, Mitch McConnell, Barbara Boxer, Joe Lieberman, etc. etc. gladly promoted Chinese interests, Often these friendships net US Senators as much as $100,000 a month in "benefits".

Then there's the family of politicians. We all know about Hunter who received 50% of his personal income from Chinese business ties, while traveling on AF2 with his father to meetings in Beijing and arranging WH visits. The Bushes were no different. Neil, brother of Dubya, made 150 visits to China while his brother was sitting in the Oval.

But, lest you think China restricts its infiltration to DC, guess again. They know that the mayors become governors and city councilman become US congressmen. So they get their hooks in early by funding projects in local communities, arranging sister-city ties and, in general, buying as many pols as they possibly can.

China is everywhere in plain sight and we can't (won't) see.

Golden Dome Needs Upgrade

Not the one at Notre Dame. Our missile defense system. And yes we do have one - of sorts.

An integrated network of sensors based in space, land and sea paired with ground-based interceptors has, so far, effectively deterred rudimentary missile attacks on our homeland from Iran, North Korea and others. But as CRINK continue to improve their capabilities and we look at a resurgent Russia and aggressive China, we need to build our next-generation missile defense.

The window to defeat ballistic missiles heading to targets in the US is less than 40 minutes and can be as brief as 10 or 15 minutes if launched from a submarine closer to its target. Being able to intercept a substantial number of warheads in-flight provides significant deterrence to an attacker, thereby saving millions of lives and the infrastructure of the U.S.  That and knowing Trump'll nuke the bejesus out of them if even one gets through us.

Our existing missile-defense system cannot easily defeat some of our adversaries’ more modern, sophisticated weapons. Neutralizing these threats will require a move away from the status quo and the development of a next-generation missile-defense shield. (which we'll probably sell to China)

With current technology, including advancements in Artificial Intelligence, satellite manufacturing and peer-to-peer networking, it is now feasible to deploy a space-based, missile-defense layer — one that is capable of tracking and intercepting ballistic missiles in their boost/ascent and mid-course trajectories. That would fill a critical gap in our current Missile Defense System, destroying ballistic missiles earlier, and preventing catastrophic loss of life.

We can do this — and we must.

Trump has tasked his team with developing a plan - pronto.

RIGGED!!!!

I will forever remain convinced that the 2020 presidential election was rigged. Even if the Holy Ghost himself (or herself if that makes some feel better) came down and told me directly it wasn't. Seems like other cornerstones of American society were rigged as well.

Elon Musk shared a chart during a get-out-the-vote rally in Wisconsin over the weekend, which showed millions of noncitizens received Social Security numbers during former President Joe Biden's tenure.  The event came just a day-and-a-half before polls opened in a contentious state judicial race.

DOGE colleague, Antonio Gracias pointed to the total number of noncitizens who received Social Security numbers between FY 2021 and FY 2025. The chart showed a steady year-over-year increase under Biden, reaching more than 2 million in FY 2024, which ended on Sept. 30. FY23 saw roughly 1 million noncitizens issued Social Security numbers, as did FY25, which began in October and will end in September of this year.

"This literally blew us away," Gracias said. "We went there to find fraud and we found this by accident. We started at the top of the system, mapping the whole system of Social Security to understand where all the fraud was," Gracias said, turning his attention to the chart behind him. "But, this is what jumped out at us. When we saw these numbers, we were like, ‘What is this?’"

The eyebrow-raising numbers come amid Musk and DOGE's ongoing probe into various federal programs and agencies, including the Social Security Administration (SSA).  Last week, DOGE said it had removed approximately 7 million Social Security accounts belonging to people listed as being over 120 years old. DOGE has also found through its audits that the Social Security database included 20 million dead people marked as alive, Musk said at the Wisconsin town hall Sunday.

Not sure this is the case, but doesn't a fake social security number make it a whole lot easier to vote in addition to collect fraudulent benefits that you and I pay for? DOGE is dope!

And Marcus Lemonis is a Dude.

You may remember him from The Celebrity Apprentice and The Profit. He is also owner of Camping World and other enterprises.

His 200+ CW locations are known for flying giant American flags the size of a basketball court. Recently the city council of Greenville, NC ordered him to stop flying the flag. Marcus told them to stuff it and said the flag ain't coming down. "I'll go to jail before I take the flag down".

Lemonis was born in Beirut, Lebanon and attended Christopher Columbus HS in Miami. He has given millions to charities.

I thought NC was a Red State. Wonder why Greenville wants Marcus to take down the American flag?

(Aside: I can never figure out why all the Camping World lots I drive by have so much inventory?)

Courts Aren't Just after Trump

The stunning court conviction of popular right-wing politician Marine Le Pen on Monday for embezzlement sparked outrage from President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency head, Elon Musk, who compared her fate to Trump’s legal troubles.

The conviction of Le Pen, which bans her from running for office for five years, comes amid legal prosecutions of other right-wing politicians, ranging from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Romania’s Călin Georgescu to former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro.

After a Manhattan jury convicted then-former President Trump of falsifying business records, legal experts pointed out strong similarities between his case and the ongoing corruption prosecution against Netanyahu.

Romania’s right-wing presidential frontrunner, Georgescu, was barred from the race under criminal charges he compared to those Trump faced.

Italy’s Vice Premier Matteo Salvini, who was cleared in December of illegally detaining migrants, called his case "a declaration of war by Brussels."

Just last week, Brazil’s Supreme Court accepted charges against former President Bolsonaro over an alleged attempt to remain in office after his 2022 election defeat, ordering the former leader to stand trial.

Strange coincidence? I think not.

The left will do anything and everything to control power. Any tactic is fair game when the voters won't comply. From rigging elections to outright weaponization of the judiciary. Use to be if elected officials went off the tracks you could vote them out. Not any more.

Did You Get a Chance to Visit?

...the new EPA Museum? Well you missed your chance. Lee Zeldin, head of EPA, is closing. Millions visit Washington and its museums every year. Since Biden spent $4M to construct and $600K a year to operate...fewer than 2000 people have visited the new EPA museum. Bye, bye..

What They are Worth

...a bunch of Columbia grads are shredding their diplomas in protest to the US rescinding the green card of Hamas sympathizer, Mahmoud Khalil, a graduate student at the School of International and Public Affairs. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested Khalil at his university-owned apartment on March 8.

What's that saying...not worth the paper it's printed on?

Ka-ching!

Trump Labor Department has secured an eye-popping sum to return to taxpayers amid DOGE push. The Labor Department says it is attempting to retrieve a total of $4.3 billion.

U.S. Department of Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer announced on Monday that her department will return over $1 billion in unused COVID-era funding back to the taxpayer amid the Trump administration's push for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to slash waste, fraud and abuse in the federal government.

In a press release, the Labor Department said $1.4 billion of unspent COVID funding will be "returned to taxpayers through the U.S. Department of Treasury’s General Fund" and added that "action" is "being taken to recover the remaining $2.9 billion." A billion here, a billion there...

Despite Covid being long over Blue state governments and federal agencies continued to spend unauthorized funds instead of returning them. Your money and mine.

My oh my. When DOGE was announced I thought the savings would come primarily from RIFs (reductions in force). Heck there's been billions recovered already and headcount reductions haven't but started. Delish.

Beat Goes On...

DOGE helped the Department of Veterans Affairs identify a consulting contract whereby an outside software consultant was being paid $380,000 per month for "minor" software modifications. The contract has been canceled and the work is now performed by an inhouse staffer in fewer than 10 hours a month. Kaching.

Guess Who?

NYT OP-Ed regarding Signalgate:

To quote...It’s not the hypocrisy that bothers me; it’s the stupidity. We’re all shocked — shocked! — that President Trump and his team don’t actually care about protecting classified information or federal record retention laws. But we knew that already. What’s much worse is that top Trump administration officials put our troops in jeopardy by sharing military plans on a commercial messaging app and unwittingly invited a journalist into the chat. That’s dangerous. And it’s just dumb.

This is the latest in a string of self-inflicted wounds by the new administration that are squandering America’s strength and threatening our national security. Firing hundreds of federal workers charged with protecting our nation’s nuclear weapons is also dumb. So is shutting down efforts to fight pandemics just as a deadly Ebola outbreak is spreading in Africa. It makes no sense to purge talented generals, diplomats and spies at a time when rivals like China and Russia are trying to expand their global reach.

In a dangerous and complex world, it’s not enough to be strong.

You must also be smart."

Author?  Hilary Rodham Clinton.  Who kept boatloads of government emails on her private computer while Secretary of State. Was so terrified when she thought FBI was coming that she had staffers smash hard drives. In 2016, the FBI reported that 113 of the approximately 30,000 emails it reviewed contained information that was classified at the time they were sent or received. She even sent emails from her personal address labeled TOP SECRET. Amazing.

BTW - Ben Shapiro is bettin' Hilary runs in 2028. She'd be 80. Wonder how that face will look then?

Mr. Potato Head Goes to Washington.

Anyone remember the classic Jimmy Stewart film, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington? Circa 1939. Stewart filibusters for 25 hours.

Well, we have a modern day version. This week NJ Senator Cory Booker (aka Mr. Potato Head for his bulging eyes look) spoke for 25 hours to rail against Trump. Not to filibuster, just to blather. While staffers dabbed his brow with Kleenex. Esteemed colleagues like Adam Schiff, Christopher Murphy called it a stunning biological feat, astonishing endurance.

C'mon man. It's not like he won the World's Iron Man competition or swam the Channel. No doubt his performance will go into the Guinness Book of Records...next to the world's largest card house.

Honestly the Democrats have nothing to offer. No wonder...The Democratic Party's latest approval ratings hit record lows in a pair of polls on Sunday.  An NBC News poll found 27% of registered voters say they view the party favorably − the lowest favorability rating for Democrats in NBC polls going back to 1990. Only 7% of survey respondents said they said they have a "very positive" view of the party. Even Democrats-only polls have them under water.

Their response - bash/block Trump and avoid at all costs offering any solutions.

How Policymakers and Experts Failed the Covid Test

Written by Stephen Macedo and Frances Lee. Both are professors at Princeton so we can safely assume they have a mega-liberal bias.

Nonetheless their real knock is on the educational elites who pretend they know all and refuse to objectively consider contravening opinion. Not only that- they collaborated to deceive. Hiding their clear lack of scientific basis. Claiming consensus. Every other word was "follow the science", except there wasn't any. And then there were the policymakers who let the "experts" run amok without serious interrogation.

Covid was a mess. True we were flying blind to a large extent, although the WHO and Johns Hopkins published useful studies on dealing with a pandemic a short two years before. Once the study came out from the Imperial College in London at the outset, the blueprint was set. Mask up and hunker down. Congregation prohibition the elites called it. Fancy, smancy, eh?

Ironic but our so-called experts decided to follow the Chinese. They locked down everything. Called it "erring on the side of caution". Aka - cover your butt. In no case were the costs of protracted lockdowns given appropriate weight.

Our deficits and debt ballooned as we threw the kitchen sink at Covid. Our kids fell years behind. The poor suffered most. Unable to work. Unable to provide.

Meanwhile the Fauci's of the world banded together. Denied Wuhan was to blame. Then followed China's lead - extensive masking and lockdowns. Only much later did they admit only the elderly and very sick were the only groups truly at serious risk. By then the horse was out of the barn.

Finally the States started rebelling. The Red States led the way. Their schools were locked down an average of 30 days. Blue states were shut an average of 75. Partisan prejudice blocked serious evaluation and intent to solve. Especially as regards lockdowns and vaccines.

Lesson - be wary of those with Ivy degrees, CYA politicians and media sycophants. ALWAYS.

No Pain No Gain

While everyone knows, expects and factors in Donald Trump's penchant for hyperbole, there can be little argument that the US has been taken to the cleaners by allies and enemies alike for generations. Especially the Europeans, Canadians, Mexicans and Chinese. We have looked out for the Europeans during two World Wars and still today in NATO. Way more than our fare share. Canada and Mexico live under our protective umbrella and worry little about spending on defense.

Virtually every nation on the planet charges higher tariffs on American goods and services than we charge on their imports. Especially agricultural products. I heard there is a 700% tariff on US rice shipped into Japan - and I thought they loved rice.

So it is only common sense, only fair, only good business to level the playing field. The result of which will be that foreign companies who crave access to our markets will not only have to play fair, but they are likely to build factories here. Like Hyundai, Taiwan Semiconductor and our own companies that manufacture abroad. Big Pharma, Apple, etc.

And yet there are way too many among Lame Street media, leftwing liberals and even Republican politicians (Mitch the Turtle McConnell) who cry sky is failing, sky is falling when Trump tries to put things right. Sure the stock market will hiccup, sure some jobs will be lost short term, sure prices on some items will go up. That is the price one has to pay to fix the mess we are in. To level the playing field for the future. Just common sense. Thank goodness we finally have a President with the guts to tackle the tough stuff.

The same logic applies to the waste reduction initiative under DOGE supervision. Polls show Americans are lukewarm or even trending unfavorably. What the hell are they thinking? What's the alternative" Let this wholesale theft of taxpayer money continue unabated.? Amazing. Idiots. When a country whose employment was devastated by a pandemic has its jobs recovery led by government hiring, something is afoul.
