True Confession...

I was so terrified by polls and moreso the potential for election chicanery, I shut my phone off at 5 PM on Election Day, watched Netflix and didn't open my computer until 630 AM on Wednesday. What I saw was the loveliest RED map of my life!

While not a Reagan-type landslide, this was pretty damn decisive. Some would say a colossal repudiation of all the Obama/Biden/Harris/Woke/Progressive culture.

Some Lessons from the 2024 Election

• Identity politics works. Societal groups (be they ethnic, gender, religion or otherwise) can be counted on to vote in blocks - Fiction. More and more votes are decided by individual goals, convictions and common sense.

• Opportunity Trumps Pandering - Fact. Like everyone else, maybe even moreso, Minorities want security and opportunity. Not more handouts. Not victimization.

• America cares what Whoopie, Joy Reid, Oprah, the Obamas and Hollywood think - Fiction. Not even a little.

• Trump is the first Republican President to win the popular vote in 20+ years - Fact. Huge fact.

• The 2022 Midterm Shocker Helped Trump Win - Fact. It convinced Biden/Harris to double down.

• Time for DEI to DIE - Fact

• You can get elected on a platform consisting of Abortion, Abortion, Abortion and I'm Not Trump - Fiction

• Performance of the Biden/Harris Administration was so derelict Americans overwhelmingly preferred a guy who is a convicted felon, was indicted 28 times, impeached twice, a Fascist and already voted out once before - Fact

• Fool me once. You can hide all you want and still become President - Fiction. At least the second time around.

• Biden would have outperformed Harris - More Fact than Fiction

How about a Couple of Not So Crazy Ideas?

Trump should conduct a rigorous investigation to prove Biden and his family are influence-peddling crooks. Then make the findings public. Then promptly pardon him. Can you see Joy and Whoopie? Their heads would explode on air.

Trump should resign after three years for health reasons and let Vance serve for 9 years.

Sea Change in the Wind?

Could the election results and the Besos/WAPO, LA Times refusal to endorse their beloved Kamala signal a retreat from Progressive/Woke ideology, stunningly Bias reporting and outright Fake News by the Left?

Don't bet on it.

The same people who have been putting out this garbage since Hope & Change in 2008 will be the same ones covering Trump starting in January. The exact same people who covered up Biden's growing senility for four years and ran interference for vacuous Kamala. Every misstep, every offhand remark will be immediately taken out context to remind Americans, "See? We Told You So. There goes Democracy"

Universities come under fire for canceling classes, providing safe spaces to students upset by Trump's victory.

Reports that several universities across the nation canceled classes and provided safe spaces for students to recover from the presidential election prompted a wave of criticism that these schools aren't preparing students for the "real world."

Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., drew mockery on social media after news broke the college invited students to a "self-care suite" on Wednesday to recover from the stress of the 2024 presidential election. 

Students at Georgetown's McCourt School of Public Policy were reportedly offered treats like "milk and cookies" and "hot cocoa" as well as "Lego" toys and "Coloring and Mindfulness Exercises" to get their minds off the election results.

The Harvard Crimson reported that several courses in the Sociology, Math and General Education Departments at Harvard University canceled classes that day, made attendance optional or extended assignment deadlines.

Economics lecturer Maxim Boycko reportedly told students during his "Intermediate Microeconomics" course that in-class quizzes would be optional on Wednesday and that students could take time off if they needed to process the election results. "As we recover from the eventful election night and process the implications of Trump’s victory, please know that class will proceed as usual today, except that classroom quizzes will not be for credit," Boycko wrote in an email obtained by the Crimson. "Feel free to take time off if needed."

Gavin Gets Gutted

Californians even showed a smidgen on common sense. They approved (a slightly) Tougher on Crime bill despite Newsom's opposition. Prompted the Leftwing Gov to mutter, "What state am I living in?" On the same note, Soros-appointed LA DA Gascon was shown the door. See all the robberies, home invasions, attacks on the street, homeless do serve a purpose.

Be Careful

Make sure doubling down on tariffs and tax cuts, firing thousands of government workers and removing cheap immigrant labor are offset by lower energy, fewer regulations and accelerated growth or that Biden bugaboo, inflation, may rear its ugly head again.
