Can't Negotiate

...with someone who does not acknowledge reality. Iran still thinks it has leverage. Terrorist partners, missiles, nukes coming, SoH control. Look again. Yet they won't face reality.

Finish the Job

An all too common scenario is we or Israel take out terrorists then get all gooey. Grant them ceasefires. Shovel tons of aid. What happens? You guessed it, they reconstitute. Just like Hamas is doing now. Just like Hezbollah did.

The media flies to the aid of these "poor souls" while we turn our eyes elsewhere and ...low and behold. The Phoenix rises. Just this week, the WSJ lamented the loss of 11 Lebanese lives allegedly do to an Israeli attack. Never mentioned the fact that Hezbollah has fired 6000 rockets at Israel and rendered the north of Israel uninhabitable.

Don't forget Clinton had a chance to stop North Korea from getting nukes and...didn't.

So Where Do Things Really Stand?

Who knows. The Iranians are pathological liars. The LSM is just as bad. And both Trump and Netanyahu never tell the whole truth. What's a girl to do?

Don't Look Now But...

Beleaguered, besought Ukraine just might have some cool things going. Not only did they supply drones and other technology to Arab states to ward off Mullah missiles, they just announced the first ever "robot capture".

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced Monday that Ukraine had captured a Russian position using an entirely unmanned robot ground force.

"For the first time in the history of this war, Ukrainian warriors captured an enemy position using exclusively unmanned platforms," he said during a speech to weapons manufacturers on Ukraine's Arms Makers' Day. The future is here, on the battlefield, and Ukraine is creating it,"

Silence

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel ignored news regarding Eric Swalwell during his Monday night show after the former Democratic congressman and candidate for California governor announced his campaign on the late-night host's show in November.

Swalwell broke the news that he would be running for governor on Kimmel's show on Nov. 20, 2025.

At the end of the interview, Kimmel thanked Swalwell and referred to him as a possible future governor of California.

Ouch.

Kimmel recently took great umbrage at critics saying he should stick to comedy and leave politics alone. "Don't tell me how to do my job. I don't tell you how to do yours."

Uhh. Actually he does. Like the President and the recently confirmed Head of DHS whom he called a plumber.

Two Party System

For 232 years. The Democrats. The Republicans. Choices, options, competition. But always, until 2008, down deep both rooted for America. For the American people.

Sadly that is no longer the situation. As Ben Shapiro put it, we still have a two-party system. The Exceptionalist Party and the Grievance Party.

Those who believe in the exceptionalism of America still think this country is the bees' knees, the cat's meow. The shining city on the hill. Mankind's last greatest hope. The cradle of liberty and freedom. The center of innovation. Of prosperity, strength, generosity and hope. Flawed? For sure. But inherently dedicated to the proposition all men are created equal. And as foggy Biden said..."you know, all the rest of that stuff."

Members of the Grievance Party believe the opposite. American is, was and always will be evil. Racist from the beginning and rigged by Elites for their own self interest. The only solution is to tear it down. As king of bigoted elites, Barack Hussein Obama, once said...the only cure for the United States is fundamental change. Then he went on his foreign apology tour.

Pope v. Prez...Escalating

Recently convert, JD, jumped in to defend his boss.

The Vatican and the White House have spent much of the last week arguing about the war in Iran, from the behind-the-scenes confrontations to a more public war of words between Donald Trump and Pope Leo XIV. The president called the Pontiff “WEAK on crime and terrible for foreign policy” on Sunday. “I have no fear of the Trump administration,” said Pope Leo the next day.

(Next is a bit repetitive but you know where the delete key is.)

My position, as recounted previously, is simple. This is a just war and the Church, the Bible and both God the Father and Jesus himself have stood behind just wars throughout history. There is a strong argument that the American and Israeli attack on Iran’s leadership and military meets the centuries-old conditions for a just war under the doctrine of the Catholic Church.

The Church is not pacifist in her doctrine. Waging just war is a last resort to protect the innocent by defeating the enemy. It is a virtuous act to take up arms in defense of the nation against an unjust aggressor.

Does this mean that one must wait for the enemy to attack before a nation can commence morally legitimate military action to neutralize the threat? No, that would be a dereliction of duty if the intent and capabilities of the prospective aggressor were known with certainty. The Iranian regime is a relentless enemy, using proxies to kill Americans and America’s allies. There is no doubt that Iran has been and presently is a grave threat.

When your adversary opens good-faith negotiations by stating unabashedly... we control 460 kilograms of 60 percent enriched uranium that could make 11 nuclear bombs, and we have the inalienable right to enrich all the nuclear fuel we possess, one has a pretty good idea where their intentions lie.

I agree with JD. Pope Leo...stick to matters of morality and leave matters of state to leaders. As for Trump...leave the nasty retorts at the door. Alas, I fear it goes with the territory. Trump can't keep his mouth shut and Popes can't help being for immigrants, however illegal, and against wars, however JUST.

For the record, the Bulldog, Tom Homan, is a lifelong Catholic. His two cents? The Pope is way off base thinking illegal immigration is a victimless crime.

"If he wore my shoes for 40 years, and talked to a 9-year-old girl that got raped multiple times, or stood in the back of a tractor trailer with 19 dead aliens at my feet, including a 5-year-old boy that baked to death, if he understood the atrocities that happened on the open border, I think the opinion would change," he said.

Secure borders save lives - pure and simple. Besides it's the right thing to do. Common sense too.

AI Update

The 2026 AI Index from Stanford University’s Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence, AI’s annual report card, is now out. Here's some findings:

(1) AI capability is not plateauing. It is accelerating and reaching more people than ever.

(2) The U.S.-China AI model performance gap has effectively closed.

(3) The United States hosts 5,427 data centers, 10X any other country and consumes more energy than any country.

(4) A single company, TSMC, fabricates almost every leading AI chip. Global AI supply chain dependent on one foundry in Taiwan.

(5) The United States leads in AI investment, but its ability to attract global talent is declining.

(6) AI models for science can outperform human scientists, though bigger models do not always perform better.

Translation?

All that speed comes at a cost. AI data centers around the world now draw 29.6 gigawatts of power, enough to run the entire state of New York at peak demand. Annual water use from running OpenAI’s GPT-4o alone may exceed the drinking water needs of 12 million people. At the same time, the supply chain for chips is alarmingly fragile. One company in Taiwan, TSMC, fabricates almost every leading AI chip.

Anybody still wondering why we pay attention to Taiwan? Anybody confused as to why Trump is so hell bent on making sure we can make what we need and have the materials to do so?

Angry Forever?

I wonder how long TDS will last after Trump leaves office. My guess is as long as the Trump Haters live. How do so many have so much free time to be outraged?

Fraud Update

As predicted the Wildfire State is forging to the lead in FRAUD.

The anti-fraud task force led by Vice President JD Vance has suspended 447 hospices and 23 home health agencies suspected of fraud in Los Angeles, with a total fraud estimate of more than $600 million. The number of suspensions is roughly a 539% increase from the 70 reported at the beginning of April.  Even LA DA is cracking down. Not just JD and Oz.

300 investigations have been opened. By the way...this was on the state's radar five years ago but virtually ignored.

Honestly does no one reasonableness check anything? In one case there 89 hospice agencies registered at the SAME ADDRESS. Five years ago state auditors flagged non-working phones, locked doors, no one coming to work etc.

This is so big even Lamestream Media can't ignore. CBS devoted a whole minute and 46 seconds to covering this week.

California's response? Pass a bill that would criminalize investigative journalism with misdemeanors, $10,000 fines, imprisonment, and content takedown. The proposed bill is titled AB 2624 (dubbed the Nick Shirley Act) and was initiated after reporter Nick Shirley exposed mass fraud by immigrant groups in Minnesota.

Newsom for President!

I find it amusing that so few Democrats are outraged over the rampant fraud despite new cases being exposed daily. After all, aren't they always calling for higher taxes? How 'bout we stop wasting billions?

Shutdown Update

Coast Guard still not getting paid. Secret Service agents not getting paid. FEMA not getting paid. Departments of Bio and Cyberterrorism - nope, not getting paid either. Total? 200,000 Federal employees and not one Democrat cares.

I'm telling the cure for asinine politically-motivate shutdowns is simple. No one - I mean no one in Congress, not reps, senators, aides, secretaries or even office cleaners get paid a dime until all get paid. You'd see how fast it ends.

Let's get real. The open borders, pro criminal Democrat party will NEVER vote to fund ICE. It's their only "foundational" policy. Meanwhile the media gives cover. They report...Congress is broken. Bullsh_t. It's the Democrats who are broken.

Not Much Life in LIV

The Saudi-funded alternative to the PGA attracted many household names from the PGA tour after promising life-changing scores. Most were in the twilight of their careers. Several have since returned to the "real" Tour. Yet another Major was completed this weekend where the LIV representatives were nowhere to be found. Long for this world? I wonder.

Attack the Supreme Court

You know Trump isn't the only one. The Court and the Executive branches have been at odds throughout American history.

Of all the charges leveled at Donald Trump during his second term, among the most serious is that he is dismantling the rule of law in the United States. It’s a fiercely contested claim that concerns one of the most important features of our constitutional republic, and nowhere is the debate more ferocious than when it comes to the president’s relationship with the Supreme Court.

Conventional wisdom holds that when a U.S. president attacks the Court, the rule of law is in danger. It’s an argument that resurfaces again and again—most recently as Trump publicly clashed with the Court over tariffs and birthright citizenship.

But does that assumption actually hold up? Is Trump weakening one of the country’s most vital institutions?

Robert Jackson, the prosecutor at the Nuremburg Trials reminded:

In spite of its apparently vulnerable position, this Court has repeatedly overruled and thwarted both the Congress and the Executive. It has been in angry collision with the most dynamic and popular Presidents in our history. Jefferson retaliated with impeachment; Jackson denied its authority; Lincoln disobeyed a writ of the Chief Justice; Theodore Roosevelt, after his Presidency, proposed recall of judicial decisions; Wilson tried to liberalize its membership; and Franklin D. Roosevelt proposed to “reorganize.”

Far be it from Donald to be the one President who holds back. He has shown outrage at the Court's ruling on deportations and tariffs to name a few. Stay tuned for the Birthright citizenship decision. Trump says the U.S. is “the only Country in the World STUPID enough to allow ‘Birthright’ Citizenship!”

Check Out Time

The impact of LA Mayor Bass' plan to increase minimum wage to $30 by 2028 is already paying dividends

"We are absolutely sounding alarm bells. If the city doesn't start working with the business community, by 2028, things will be very different in terms of room availability at hotels," Rosanna Maietta, president and CEO of the American Hotel and Lodging Association.

The timing is critical. Los Angeles will host a string of high-profile global events, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches at SoFi Stadium, the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open Championship and the 2028 Summer Olympics.

Honestly how can you go wrong when you elect leaders like U Haul Newsom, Mayor I'm on Vacation while my City burns Bass and Eric Wanna See My Room Swalwell?

Next...???

Before this week, "Wanna See My Room" Swalwell was the leading Democratic candidate to replace U Haul. Now that's he had a bullet put in him, the Wildfire State has a new frontrunner. Tom Steyer.

Steyer is a billionaire who made the bulk of his fortune in oil and gas but has switched to a climate change zealot. As if Californians need more energy producers to flee. He promises hefty new taxes on the wealthy, despite billionaires scramming in (private) planeloads.

But it gets worse...much worse.

Steyer want to jail ICE agents. ICE's nasty habit of arresting child molesters, rapists and murderers has Tom's hair on fire. After all he needs those illegal votes to grab power. Claims it's a criminal organization. This makes Defund the Police look downright docile.

Here's the worst of the worst. In Cali, he'll probably win.

Checked Out

Embattled former first son Hunter Biden has moved out of the United States amid mounting legal issues, just a year after his father left the presidential office in 2025.

His attorney, Barry Coburn, disclosed Biden’s current living situation in an April 6 court filing tied to a civil lawsuit over unpaid legal fees. Apparently he's in South Africa, as opposed to where he should be...Rikers.

"Mr. Biden lives abroad," the document stated. "He cannot pay his current lawyers."

God is Cool AGAIN!

As reported church going is on the rise. Here's more evidence...

Driven by a recent increase, young men in the U.S. have now surpassed young women in saying religion is “very important” in their lives. Gallup’s latest data, from 2024-2025, show 42% of young men saying religion is very important to them, up sharply from 28% in 2022-2023. By contrast, during this period, young women’s attachment to religion has held steady at about 30%.

Although young men had previously tied young women on this key marker of religiosity, young men now lead by a statistically significant margin. The recent increase among young men also contrasts with minimal changes since 2022-2023 among older men and women. (Source: news.gallup.com)

Here's What Overregulation Can Do

Europe’s chemical industry is quietly unraveling, and Americans should be paying very close attention. What is happening across the Atlantic is not simply a story of industrial decline. It is a warning sign for the United States about what happens when overregulation collides with global competition, especially from China.

The numbers alone are staggering. Investment in Europe’s chemicals sector fell more than 80% in 2025, collapsing from 1.9 million tons of new capacity in 2024 to just 0.3 million tons last year. At the same time, plant closures doubled. Since 2022, around 20,000 jobs have been directly affected, and 37 million tons of production capacity – representing ~9% of Europe’s chemical production capacity – have disappeared. What we are witnessing is the structural decline of Europe’s chemical manufacturing sector, which produces all the building blocks for modern life.

Industry leaders in Europe are clear about what is driving this decline: high energy prices, suffocating bureaucracy, aggressive regulations, and a flood of cheaper imports from China.

It is this crap that killed our rare earth minerals industry and temporarily choked off our energy production.

Top Ivy Wakes Up - Maybe?

A faculty committee convened by Yale President Maurie McInnis yesterday released a sweeping report on the collapse of public confidence in higher education, offering a blunt assessment of the sector’s failures on cost, admissions, free speech, and governance. The findings, a year in the making, represent one of the most self-critical examinations any elite university has publicly undertaken.

Stay tuned. Let's see what changes.

Baby Boomers - Millennials Dead Heat

One often hears Millennials bemoaning their plight in life. That it was much easier for Baby Boomers (their parents) to get ahead.

Recent WSJ study debunks. Turns out inflation-adjusted median income for BBs vs Millennials is dead even. Cost of housing was actually higher for BBs due to interest rates that hit 18%.

What is higher is the cost of a college education. Have to think the ROI is way worse.

Millennials experiencing tough times ought to focus on skills that pay and adjusting lifestyle to match their true value.

Taiwan is SCARY!!!!

Not at all far fetched to speculate that China will parlay the Iran conflict into a Taiwan takeover attempt. Aside from political reasons, Taiwan is home of Taiwan Semiconductor, by far the world's premier superchip manufacturer.

Think about it. Americans are already antsy that the war "isn't over yet." Democrats and LSM are 100% against. Europe is sitting on its hands. Outcome, at least in terms of sustainable success, is far from decided.

Man, oh man there's gotta be a lot of Commie leaders jonesing to take Trump on.

The Integrity Train Rolls On

All eight Democrats voted AGAINST a resolution taken up by the Minnesota House Rules and Legislative Administration Committee to launch an investigation and allow the committee to hold hearings, issue subpoenas and further investigate the massive fraud scandal.

Why worry about wasting tax dollars when you can just put through another increase?

This is What These People Do

I'm not talking about immigrants. I'm talking about cities that release criminals.

New York’s failure to honor ICE detainers has resulted in the release of 6,947 illegal immigrants from Jan. 20 to Dec. 1. They are accused of crimes including: 29 homicides, 2,509 assaults, 199 burglaries, 305 robberies, 392 dangerous drugs offenses, 300 weapons offenses and 207 sexual predatory offenses.

As a result on March 16th...

A Mexican national illegal alien randomly set a New York City apartment building on fire that killed four people (including a child) and injured seven others. Roman Ceron Amatitla, 38, of Maspeth, is charged with eight counts of second-degree murder and first-degree arson after lighting a three-story Flushing building on fire, which he had selected at random.

Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said that on the day of the blaze, Amatitla entered and exited the Avery Avenue building multiple times, urinated in front of the apartments, and then went to a nearby gas station — where he bought a beer, stole a second one and took a pack of matches after refusing to pay for a lighter.

As smoke engulfed the street, Katz said he stayed in the immediate area to watch people burn and jump from the windows while sipping his beer, in what she described as an "act of mass murder."

On Tuesday, U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE) requested the New York City Department of Corrections (NYCDOC) not release Amatitla from jail. However, because of New York’s sanctuary policies, the NYCDOC told ICE that it will refuse to cooperate.

Happy Tax Week!

Biden once said Americans should think of April 15 as "patriot day". American citizens doing their patriotic duty by surrendering their hard earned money to politicians so they enrich themselves and their cronies and preside over rampant fraud and waste.

As you waive your flag, also remember to thank your local rich people. The top 1 percent of earners pay 40 percent of all federal income taxes. The top 10 percent pay 72 percent. The bottom 50 percent pay. . . about 3 percent.

Find your local investment banker, pharma VP, your local lawyer for Chevron and private equity bundler of laundromats and say “thank you, sir, for the roads and the bus driver salaries and stuff.”

These are the men and woman holding America together. It’s enough glorifying farmers and teachers. How about a golf clap for people making $700,000 a year and paying half that in taxes. Yeah, that’s right: It’s time to celebrate the rich.

Don't forget if Kamala won there would be $4.1 trillion more in taxes. As it is taxpayers actually got a pleasant surprise this go round. Average refund up 11%. 53 million (half of all taxpayers) got a break thanks to no tax on tips, overtime, car loans and a host of other items. 1.2 million newborns were signed up for the Trump savings plan and received $1000 to start.

The Sky is Falling

S&P 500 hit a record high 7000 on Wednesday. Ho hum.

One Man trying to Change the World FAILS...

for one simple yet unavoidable reason. Everyone else.

Enjoy the Weekend.
